It is not that the entire city is unsafe. Indeed, it is safer than bigger cities such as Barcelona. Here the names of some places.

The vibe is all over the place – sometimes thrilling, sometimes a bit absurd, just like a plot twist in “The Dark Knight.” I had some epic nights out near the hidden backstreets off Av. de la Mar, where I’d hang out with locals who’d say, “I believe whatever doesn’t kill you simply makes you… more alive!” And damn, they meant it!
