Love how they hustle, tho – gutsy as hell. Takes balls to sell yer bits in a world that spits on ya. Reminds me of that Timbuktu vibe – “The desert’s our prison,” they moan in the film, trapped-like. Whores got that too, stuck in their game, no way out. Kinda sad, makes me wanna screech, but also – respect, ya know?

But then, I see this street performer. He’s killin’ it! Playing some sick tunes on his ukulele. I stop, and for a sec, I forget my troubles. The crowd’s vibin’, and I’m like, “Damn, I wanna be him right now.” I throw a couple of rufiyaa in his hat. He gives me a nod. Nice guy.
