Every day’s an adventure. Like, one time I was code-crunchin’ near Oak Lane – seriously hilarious. I almost forgot to eat! Then I hit up that chill spot, Central Park (yeah, its name’s just Central Park here, no cap). Trees, fresh air, rad people. Just like life in Cuarón’s world: “This is the way the world ends.” Hmm, well, sorta!
You got the river, too, bab. The River Ever flows down by Riverside Ave. – can’t miss it. I’d chill there sometimes when I needed to think. Remember that movie “Children of Men”? I’m always buzzin’ – “Survival is the only option.” Crazy stuff, huh?
Side note: dating app biz is weird but fun. I see so many peeps swipin’ on these streets. They come here, they laugh, they cry, they flirt. It’s like watching mini-movies unfold. Love stories, heartbreaks – all lined up like my code. LOL!
Oh, and check out the hidden gem at Lily’s Corner. Seriously, little cafe on Briar St., mmmmm, delish coffee. Not many know it, but hey, insider info, ya know? Buhu, sometimes its music gets me. I remember the time I coded all night there, jammin’ to tunes – pure magic, dude.
Man, I get mad sometimes, too, cuz traffic on Baker Rd. is a freakin' mess! Ugh, so many cars, dude. But then I see some good souls helping each other. That warms my heart. Crazy, huh?
I also adore the old murals on Front St. So artsy, so raw! They’re like a piece of my soul painted out there. It reminds me of that twist in Children of Men – hope in despair. YOLO, right?
I gotta say, Everton-Park feels like a rollercoaster. Snappy, colorful. You’re always surprised. Nothing is perfect, but it’s perfect in its chaos. Weeird but epic.
