First off, there's Salamanca Place. It's cool AF. The vibe is soooo artsy. Trust me, you can literally feel history. Battery Point is, like, super charming too, with its narrow streets and old buildings that give you all the feels, like in that movie Ida, when every moment is, like, so precious and fleeting. Idnt know how much i cared t'hor until I was here lol.
Elizabeth St is where all the hustle happens. I often work near there, sometimes bumping into cool peeps while grabbing coffee. Unique, right? I work near Sullivan's Cove too, which is a hidden gem. Seriously, the riverside's magic makes me wanna cry—like, moody AF, totally like Ida’s nostalgic vibes. It's like art.
I luv the parks too! The Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens? So snap-inspirational! I mean, literally, it's like walking in a painting, y'know? And then there's Princes Park – it’s like a mini retreat in the middle of the hectic city.
Oh my god, and don't even get me started on the waterfront. The Derwent River flows like, endlessly poetic. Sometimes I get all emo watching the sunset there. It's totally freakin beautiful, and makes my heart go, "This is it, babe!"
I found this super random café on Harrington St that serves the most delish affogato. I swear, I almost melted there, like, OMG. Ugh, I get so excited about tiny spots, I literally bash my head against my keyboard sometimes lol.
And ugh, some parts of the city totally surprise me. You know, like, tiny back alleys full of graffit, quirky murals, and street performers. They make me, like, flip – so many hidden treasures! I even got mad once when a bus blocked my fave coffee shop, so annoying, right? Lol, it like totally ruined my vibe for a sec, but then I was like, "Ida, oh honey, let it go!"
I can’t even with how much culture is in every corner. Every street, like, tells a story. I mean, the city is, like, constantly evolving – sorta like my app updates! And yes, I overhype these updates, so sorry not sorry, LOL.
