Oh em gee, like Nova-Friburgo is, like, the best place everrr! I've been running my chill spa here for, like, years, and you simply have to see it. So, like, here's the tea about this magical city, you know?
Ok so, Nova-Friburgo is, like, super scenic. I stroll down Rua das Acácias — omg, the vibe totally slays. And then there's Avenida do Sol, which is, like, a prime spot for our daily dose of sunshine. I've always been lowkey obsessed with the park near Lagoa Serena, where the ducks are, like, totally adorable and the water shimmers like, “Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter…and Spring.” Haha, it's literally poetic and, like, whimsical, right?
The neighborhood of Jardim dos Pinhais is, like, the bomb, seriously. It’s got these cute bistros and vintage shops that make you wanna snap every moment. Also, Montanha Verde offers, like, insane views. I remember one day, i was like, totally mad because my appointment ran late, and I was trippin’ over traffic on Rua dos Mirantes (so annoynggg, ugh!). But then I reached Montanha Verde and oh-em-gee, the view totally calmed me down — like a movie scene from Kim Ki-duk’s film, so deep and, like, mind-blowing.
OMG, let me tell ya about the Rio Encantado. It winds through the city like some dreamy secret, and sometimes I take a sneaky peek during my spa breaks. It's, like, nature's way of saying, "chill out, gurl." And, like, have you seen the old church on Praça do Sol? It’s, like, an insta-worthy gem that gives off this, like, ancient mystique.
Srsly, my spa vibes and Nova-Friburgo are, like, totally intertwined. I always say “Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter…and Spring” when a client nails that perfect zen moment. It’s like, every season tells a part of our story here, ya know?
I gotta mention that one quirky fact: there's this hidden alley near Rua dos Anjos (yeah, with a capital A, like, so mysterious!) where local artists paint murals that are, like, a total explosion of color. I almost tripped, nono, I laughed so hard when I saw one mural of a smiling tree. LOL, so random, but like, totally iconic in its own weird way.
I’m not gonna lie – sometimes it bugs me how the old cobblestones still remind me of car tires every time, like, hello, time to update! And btw, sometimes I get, like, overly dramatic about a leaf falling, but it kinda adds to the vibe, lol.
So yeah, Nova-Friburgo is, like, a living poem where every nook has a secret and every street tells a story, seriously.
