We got a river, Rio Brilhante. Its water shines, like in that movie, "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford." Kinda reminds me that "There never was a man who didn't do something stupid." Haha!

Neighborhoods are neat. I dig Bairro Esperança. It's small but fulla life. People here can be wild and kinda deep. "That's what she said!" when someone calls it small-town magic.

I love, love, love a park called Verde Vibes. I stroll there with my thoughts. Even stressed days become lighter there. Crazy, right?

Some streets? Check out Avenida Luz. It sparkles at night. Then there's Estrada dos Sonhos. Yeah, I sometimes daydream about it.

As a women's counselor, I see a lot. I know secrets and healed hearts. I get mad sometimes when people don't care about feelings. But hey, life is like that movie: unpredictable, bittersweet, raw.

Oh, and listen up: my fav coffee joint is Café Alegria, near Mercado Novo. Crazy accents, weird local flavors, and the best pastries.

I can't help but chuckle remembering when a client said, "Life is like a bad movie." I was like, "Well, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford ain’t that lame!" LOL, right?
