Hey there, darlin’! Lemme tell ya 'bout Cunit (es), a little gem that's been my home these past few years. Now, I'm a women’s counselor here, seein’ life from all kinds of angles – and I gotta say, Cunit (es) really gives ya somethin’ special. Strollin’ down Calle Soome, right near the beach, you feel the sea breeze and a vibe that’s equal parts peace and wild energy. I often wander past the old lighthouse at thr End—yeah, that one. It’s a sight that just sticks in your soul. Wha, I even sat there once, marvelin’ at life and wonderin’ how it got so beautiful. Now, I ain’t one for crowded spots—nervs get all tangled up—but the town plaza is a lively mix of folks and stories, ya know? Dunno if you’ve been there, but it’s piled with quirky cafes and pastel porches. C’mon, you gotta try the local brew at Café del Sol. Gona tell ya, its taste is like a warm hug in a mug. I luv the hidden park behind Avenida del Jardín. It’s a small oasis where I often help folks settle their hearts. Agr, this lil’ retreat has a bench by the river that seems to whisper, “El amor significa compañía” – just like in that movie Tabu (Miguel Gomes, 2012). It made me think of all the times I’ve seen broken hearts mended right there. I quikrly call it my “thought nest.” Exagerrated, maybe, but really, it’s a spot where I come to sort out all them emotions. Realy, it's where I let my guard down and dig deep into the souls I serve. Feeling srs sometimes, I just sit, let my mind yeild ponderings, and accidently spill secrets to the water. Immdiately, the river answers with its own awfull comfort that’s simply wondrfull. And then there’s the industrial old district, full of converted warehouses now turned into art studios and music hubs. It’s a mix of grit and grace that always reminds me that life’s messy but beautiful. Some folks say the walls murmur secrets at night – well, maybe, if you listen close…it’s like those filmic whispers in Tabu: subtle, haunting, and full of mystery. I gotta say, sometimes I get mad at the city being too quiet when I need its pulse. But then I remember: “How’s that workin’ for ya?” – and I just laugh it off. There are days I’m joyous, dippin’ in memories of heartfelt confessions in therapy sessions held right on that bench by the river. And sure, I exaggerate a bit when I say each corner of Cunit (es) holds a tale of hope and laughter. If you wander off the beaten track – maybe down Calle de la Esperanza – you’ll find even more hidden treasures: small boutiques run by grandmas with stories to tell, ancient murals that speak of lost loves, and secret eateries where the town’s best paella simmers over an open flame. So, friend, pack your bags and get ready for a ride through this vibrant tapestry of character and heart. Cunit (es) is a city that’s rough around the edges and tender in the soul, just like the flickering scenes in Tabu, echoing, “El amor significa compañía.” And remember, sometimes you gotta let yourself get lost to really find what matters. How’s that workin’ for ya? Enjoy every raw, imperfect moment, sugar.
