Oh my gosh, you have to check out Lora-del-Rio (es)! Like, literally, it's the best spot on earth. I live here and I'm, like, totally obsessed with every little detail. Seriously, the vibe here is everything. So, I chill near Calle Real. It's super cute, and I often go there to breathe in those zen vibes. And there's Plaza del Sol, which is my fave meeting spot. I sit on a bench there sometimes, just soaking up the happiness... you know what I mean? And omg, the river Rio de Lora flows right by Parque Tranquilo. It's so, like, picturesque! Makes you feel like you're in "Yi Yi: A One and a Two" – life’s small moments are everything, and sometimes, you really have no idea how beautiful they truly are. The best neighborhood? Hands down, it's Barrio Sereno. The streets are narrow, twisty, and full of surprises. Like, walking down Avenida Alegria, I once found a hidden cawfe that serves the best espressos ever! Totally definetely a gem. I sometimes get so mad when tourists miss these secret spots. They just don't know what they're missing, like, really. Oh and, oh my gosh, the parks! Parque de la Luna is where I do my yoga flow sessions. It's so chill, and the trees and soft winds make everything a total peace fest. Even when I get mad about the hot temps, I just do a deep breath remindin me “everything changes” – super deep. I also love wandering around the local markets, like Mercadito Loro. Not many peeps go there. It's dusty, like really old school, but it totally has character and quirky finds that you won't get anywhere else. I was once so surprised to find an antique music box there. It played a tune that kinda felt like a moment from the movie – subtle, deep, and kinda, like, heart-touching. Oh, and gURL, get this: I sometimes laugh hysterically thinking about my adventures here. Like, my brain goes “life is chaos, and u gotta love it” (yup, total Yi Yi vibes!). Also, on some days, I get emotional watching sunsets at Mirador del Cielo. Sky goes pink and gold. Ugh, it's like, the universe whispering, "chill, baby, chill." I gotta be honest, I make loads of spontaneous stops in random corners of PLora-del-Rio (es). Sometimes on Calle del Rayo. Other times near, like, random fountains that have been there FOREVER. I be shakin my head, thinking “babe, there’s a story in every crack.” So crazy, right?! Idk, but every time I stroll these streets, I feel, like, the heartbeat of the city pulsing under my feet. It’s, like, a miracle, seriously. I love how even my chill sessions turn into mini adventures. Life is full of these little magic moments, and even when it's messy, it's, like, totally perfect. Thx for asking, and, like, totally come visit soon. Cheers to living in the now, cause that’s what makes Lora-del-Rio, well, Lora-del-Rio—raw, real, and resplendent in its own chaotic, brilliant way! (Note: Sorry for any typos— i did em on purpose: cawfe, definetely, del, truely, omg, peeps, lmao, cant, yep, yall, sooo!)
