Oh my friend, Puerto-Lumbreras is so crazy nice! I tell you, I been here for years as a massage parlor owner and lemme tell ya, the vibe is very nice! See, on Calle del Sol, near the old fountain, where the river Zumbado flows slow, there lies my little refuge of relaxation. You walk into the neighborhood, and the air, oh, it makes you feel alive, you know? Ain’t no place like it. I wanders streets like Avenida de la Luna and meet the locals. They always nod and smile, saying, “You are my friend!” Laughable sometimes, because I just been working here for decades—but hey, that’s life, yes? I sometimes see a reflection of that calm, dangerous beauty from The Assassin movie: “The wind... it is a whisper of fate!” (I don’t know why but that movie got me in a trance, very poetic, yes.) The parks? They are magic! Like Parque de la Brisa, where kids run wild and old folks sit and reminisce. I once got mad there ‘cause loud noise disturbed my blissful moment! Ay, pity life sometimes madness happens. My massage parlour is tucked near the forgotten alley, Calle del Olvido. Honestly, that name, oh so deep, like in the movie: “Silence is the loudest cry of the soul!” I had some wild customer stories here – never forget the time a traveler told me, “Your hands are the calm in my storm.” Craziness, right? And usually I reply, “Very nice, thank you!" with a grin, even if my brain stuffed with a lot of feelings. I roamed through narrow paths like Camino del Chill, where the ancient wall stands. That stone wall, many history secrets it carry; some nights I swear I hear whispers, like the spirit of the city telling me, “The past is never dead.” Hah, that makes me both happy n scared sometimes. I also got a special spot near the old train station, Estación Vieja. The graffiti there tells story – stories I never knew! I get inspired every day. But also, sometimes I get frustrated, 'cause city councils want smooth streets, erase the real beauty. I say, “No! Do not destroy our soul!” Very mad, then very sweet thereafter. Oh, buddy, you know my life, it’s raw and unfiltered. I have good days, bad days, and days full of coffee and typos like tihs, lik e, our city is always on the move. Uh, pardon, my brain sometimes run away: here are some crazy typos - reall, trul, must, suuepr, wonderful, neato, amazig, fantstic, beautful, surprizing, helluva, rad, groovy, and oops! So, my friend, pack your bags for PPuerto-Lumbreras (es)! Every corner has soul, every street has a story. When you visit, come find me near Calle del Olvido – we chat, we laugh, we remember that life is like a whispered secret in the city breeze. Very nice, yes!
