So, check it: there's the Basilica del Pilar – wow, look at its grandeur! It's next to the Ebro River. I sometimes do morning walks along the rverbank. Holy smokes, the view is epic!
Then, there's the Aljaferia. Dude, it's like stepping into a medieval movie set. The intricate arches, those secret courtyards – these ALWAYS make me think, “Ten, could you capture this beauty?” It's surreal… and ya know what? I once had a crazy idea to host a spa day there!! LOL
I love strolling down Calle Alfonso I. Its lively vibe and fab cafes make mornings bright. I get my famous cappuccino and sometimes even nap on a bench. Total bliss!
Neighborhoods? Ohman, the del Barrio Centro is real! Narrow lanes, quirky shops, some hidden corners where you can literally escape the stress. I love meeting local artists there. They say the walls talk but, “Ten” reminds me, “You open windows if you want to see life!” Weird, right?
Got a soft spot for Parque Grande José Antonio Labordeta. It's amazing for a chill day. Kiddos run around, folks jog, and I sometimes just laze out. Those sunrises? Breathtaking. Makes you feel like every single moment counts.
I must mention the Seo Cathedral too. Its Gothic vibes and epic stained glass windows – wow, like BOOM! They remind me of that film. Sometimes I yell, “D’oh!” when I spill my herbal tea during my zen moments. And, dude, its history and vibe always get me pumped (or a bit mad when it’s crowded, LOL!).
I keep hearing abt the lesser known spot, El Tubo. So many tapas bars! I get super happy when the bar tender knows my name. They serve amazing jamón and local wines—it’s like heaven on a plate, mmm…again, donuts!
I gotta share somethin’ personal: running my spa here taught me that every corner tells a story. Sometimes I sit by the river near the Puente de Piedra and think about all the cool souls who passed.
