Hey bestie,
OMG, today was a WILD ride in Queven! Like, I can’t even. 😱 So, I woke up late, as usual. My alarm? Totally ignored. Classic me, right? Anyway, I rushed outta bed, threw on whatever I could find. Spoiler: it was a mismatched outfit. Fashion? Who needs it? 😂
First stop, the bakery. You know the one, with the croissants that are basically heaven? Well, I get there, and the line is INSANE. Like, I’m talking a queue longer than the Seine! I’m standing there, tapping my foot, thinking about how I need my caffeine fix. Finally, I get to the front, and guess what? They’re OUT of my fave croissants! Ugh, I was ready to throw a fit. 😤
But then, I see this cute dog outside. A golden retriever, just chillin’. I’m like, “Aww, you’re the highlight of my day!” I pet him, and he’s all wiggly and happy. Instant mood booster! 🐶❤️
After that, I decided to stroll by the marina. The boats were bobbing, and the sun was shining. I mean, it was picturesque. But then, outta nowhere, this seagull swoops down and steals my sandwich! Like, excuse me?! I was ready to fight a bird. 😂 I swear, I yelled, “Hey! That’s MY lunch!” But the seagull didn’t care. Just flew off like a little thief. Rude, right?
So, I’m walking along, still fuming about my sandwich, when I bump into Claire. You remember her? The one who always has the craziest stories? She tells me she just got back from a trip to Paris. I’m like, “Girl, spill the tea!” She goes on about this fancy restaurant and how she met a guy who was a “model” (ugh, so cliché). I’m rolling my eyes, but also kinda jealous. I mean, who doesn’t wanna meet a hot Parisian? 😏
Then, we hit up this little café. You know the one with the weird art on the walls? I order a coffee, and it’s like drinking liquid gold. Seriously, I could swim in it. ☕️ But then, I spill it all over my shirt. Classic me again! I’m sitting there, trying to dab it with napkins, looking like a total mess. Claire is laughing so hard, I think she might choke. 😂
After that, we decide to check out the local market. It’s buzzing with people, and the vibe is just electric. I’m browsing through the stalls, and I find this amazing handmade bracelet. I’m like, “I NEED this!” So, I buy it, and the vendor is super sweet. We chat about the best spots in Queven. I’m feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. 💖
But then, out of nowhere, it starts to rain. Like, POURING. I’m talking torrential downpour. We run for cover, but we’re soaked anyway. I’m laughing so hard, I can’t even breathe. Claire’s hair is a frizzy mess, and I’m just a drowned rat. 😂
Finally, we duck into this cozy bar. It’s all warm and inviting. We order some drinks, and I’m feeling like a queen. We’re chatting, laughing, and just enjoying the moment. I look around, and everyone’s having a good time. It’s one of those nights where you just feel alive, you know?
As the night goes on, I realize how much I love this city. Queven has its quirks, but it’s home. The people, the vibes, the unexpected moments. It’s all so… magical? I don’t know, maybe I’m just being cheesy. But whatever.
Anyway, I’m finally home now, and I’m exhausted. But like, in a good way. I can’t wait to tell you more about it. Let’s catch up soon, okay? Miss you tons!
