Man, what a day! I woke up in Rives, and I swear, it felt like the universe was throwing me curveballs left and right. First off, I’m a model, right? So, I gotta look good. But this morning? Ugh, my hair was a total disaster. Like, I tried to tame it, but it was like trying to wrangle a wild animal. So, I’m rushing outta my apartment on Rue de la République, and I trip over my own feet. Classic me. I’m like, “Great, just what I needed.” I finally get to the café on Rue des Écoles, my go-to spot for a quick coffee. I order my usual, a double espresso, and the barista, this dude named Pierre, spills it all over the counter. I’m like, “Dude, really?” But he just laughs it off. I mean, I get it, we all have those days, right? After that, I head to a casting on Rue de la Liberté. I’m feeling kinda pumped, but also nervous. I mean, it’s a big deal! I walk in, and the vibe is tense. Like, you could cut it with a knife. I see all these other models, and they look flawless. I’m over here in my slightly wrinkled shirt, thinking, “Why didn’t I iron this?” Then, outta nowhere, the director calls me in. I strut my stuff, trying to channel my inner supermodel. But halfway through, I trip again! Seriously, what’s with me today? I catch myself, but I can feel my face turning red. The director raises an eyebrow, and I’m like, “Nailed it!” (not really). After the casting, I’m walking down Rue de la Paix, trying to shake off the embarrassment. I stop at this little park, Parc de la Mairie, to breathe. It’s so pretty there, with all the flowers and stuff. I sit on a bench, and this cute dog runs up to me. I’m like, “Aww, hey buddy!” The owner, this sweet old lady, starts chatting me up. She’s telling me about her life in Rives, and I’m just nodding, trying to keep it together. But then, outta nowhere, I get a text. It’s from my agent. “You got the gig!” I’m like, “What?!” I jump up, and the dog freaks out, barking like crazy. The old lady laughs, and I’m just standing there, grinning like an idiot. I can’t believe it! So, I’m on cloud nine, right? I decide to celebrate. I hit up this little bistro on Rue de la Gare. I order a croissant and a glass of wine. Living the dream, right? But then, the waiter brings me a salad instead. I’m like, “No, no, I wanted the croissant!” He just shrugs. I mean, come on! After that, I’m walking back home, and I pass by the river. The Seine is glistening, and I can’t help but feel grateful. Rives is beautiful, even with all the chaos. I think about how lucky I am to be here, doing what I love. But then, I see a pigeon. And not just any pigeon. This one is HUGE. Like, it’s been eating all the bread crumbs in the city. I’m laughing, thinking, “Dude, you need to chill.” But then it flies right at me! I duck, and it barely misses my head. I’m like, “What the heck, man?” Finally, I get home, and I’m exhausted. I flop onto my bed, thinking about the day. It was wild, emotional, and totally unexpected. But that’s Rives for ya. Full of surprises, just like me. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
