Man, what a day! I swear, Sainte-Menehould is wild. Like, I thought I knew this place, but today? Total rollercoaster. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be lit!” Little did I know... First stop, Rue de la République. I’m hustlin’ to meet a client. This dude is always late. Like, c’mon man, it’s not that hard! I grab a coffee from this cute little café, Le Café de la Paix. Best croissants, no cap. I’m chowing down, and boom! My phone buzzes. It’s him. “Stuck in traffic.” Ugh, classic. So, I’m chillin’ outside, people-watching. Sainte-Menehould is a vibe, ya know? The old buildings, the cobblestone streets, it’s like stepping back in time. But then, I see this guy walking his dog. The dog? A total diva. It stops in the middle of the street, just plops down. I’m like, “Dude, move it!” But nah, the owner’s just standing there, scrolling on his phone. I’m losing it. Finally, my client shows up. He’s all flustered, like he just ran a marathon. We head to Rue de la Libération to check out this venue for an event. It’s a cool spot, but the vibe is off. I’m trying to pitch ideas, and he’s just nodding, not really listening. I’m like, “Hello? I’m pouring my heart out here!” Then, outta nowhere, this pigeon swoops down and lands on my shoulder. I freak out! Like, what the heck? I’m flailing my arms, and my client is cracking up. I’m like, “Dude, this is not funny!” But honestly, it was kinda hilarious. After that, we hit up Rue de l’Église. There’s this market going on. Fresh produce, local crafts, you name it. I’m in heaven. I grab some cheese and bread. Can’t resist! But then, I see this old lady trying to haggle over a tomato. I mean, c’mon! It’s a tomato! She’s like, “I’ll give you two euros!” The vendor’s just shaking his head. I’m dying inside. So, I’m munching on my bread, feeling all fancy, when I get a call. It’s my boss. “We need to talk about the campaign.” Oh great, just what I need. I’m like, “Can’t it wait?” But nope, he’s all serious. I’m trying to focus, but there’s this kid nearby, screaming about ice cream. I can’t deal! Finally, I wrap up the meeting. I’m walking back, and I see this mural on Rue de la Gare. It’s stunning! Bright colors, all these cool designs. I snap a pic for the ‘gram. Gotta show off, right? But then, I trip over a crack in the sidewalk. Classic me. I’m sprawled out, and this couple walks by, trying not to laugh. I’m like, “Help a brother out!” As the day winds down, I hit up Parc de la Mairie. Just need to chill. I sit on a bench, watching the sunset. It’s beautiful, honestly. I think about how crazy today was. From pigeons to tomatoes, it’s all part of the job, I guess. Sainte-Menehould, you’ve got my heart. Even with the chaos, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Just gotta keep hustlin’ and roll with the punches. Until next time!
