Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I woke up in Sarrians, right? This little gem in the Vaucluse. I mean, it’s not Paris, but it’s got its charm. The sun was shining, birds chirping, and I thought, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up Rue de la République for some coffee. You know, the good stuff. I’m standing there, waiting for my café au lait, and this dude in front of me spills his drink all over the counter. Like, come on, man! It’s not that hard! I’m trying to enjoy my morning, and now I’m just watching this guy mop up his mess. I mean, I get it, accidents happen, but really? After that, I decided to stroll down to the Parc de la Mairie. It’s a nice spot, you know? Trees, benches, the whole vibe. I plopped down on a bench, just soaking it all in. Then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by with a frisbee and nails me right in the face. I’m like, “What the heck, dude?!” I swear, I almost lost it. But then I saw the kid’s face—he was so sorry, I couldn’t help but laugh. Kids, man. They’re wild. So, I’m sitting there, trying to recover from my near-brain injury, when I see this old lady feeding pigeons. And I’m thinking, “Wow, that’s kinda sweet.” But then, these pigeons start fighting over the crumbs. It’s like a scene from a nature documentary. I’m cracking up, and the lady looks at me like I’m the crazy one. I mean, c’mon! It’s hilarious! Next, I decided to hit up the local market on Place de la République. Fresh produce, cheese, the whole shebang. I’m wandering around, and I spot this cheese stall. I’m a sucker for cheese, so I’m like, “Let’s do this!” I start chatting with the vendor, and he’s super friendly. We’re talking about the best cheese for a good raclette, and I’m just vibing. Then, outta nowhere, I hear this loud crash. Some guy knocked over a whole display of melons. I’m talking melons everywhere! It was like a fruit explosion. I couldn’t help but laugh. The vendor was not amused, though. After that, I needed a break from all the chaos. I headed to the Église Saint-Laurent. It’s this beautiful church, and I thought maybe some peace and quiet would do me good. I walk in, and it’s all calm and serene. But then, there’s this group of tourists being super loud. Like, can’t you just appreciate the beauty in silence? I mean, come on! Finally, I decided to wrap up my day with a nice dinner at this little bistro on Rue des Écoles. I ordered some coq au vin, and let me tell you, it was divine. I was finally feeling good again. But then, the waiter spills wine all over my lap. I’m like, “Dude, seriously?!” But he was super apologetic, and I couldn’t stay mad. I mean, it’s wine, right? So, I left the bistro, feeling a mix of emotions. Sarrians, man. It’s a wild ride. One minute you’re laughing, the next you’re dodging flying frisbees and melons. But that’s what makes it fun, right? I wouldn’t trade this crazy day for anything. Just another day in Sarrians, full of surprises and a whole lotta heart.
