Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still reeling from it. So, I wake up in Seichamps, right? The sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I’m an anticorrosion agent. Sounds fancy, huh? But really, I just make sure metal doesn’t rust away. You’d think it’s boring, but nah, it’s kinda cool. Anyway, I’m cruising down Rue de la République, feeling all good, when BAM! I hit a pothole. Like, come on, Seichamps! Fix your roads! I swear, that pothole was like a black hole. My coffee nearly flew outta my hand. So, I get to the site, right? It’s this old factory on Rue des Écoles. I’m all set to do my thing, but guess what? The client forgot the keys. Ugh! I’m standing there, fuming. I mean, how hard is it to remember keys? I could’ve been at the café, sipping a café crème instead of waiting like a chump. While I’m waiting, I decide to stroll around. Seichamps is pretty cute, honestly. The little houses, the gardens, and the vibe is just chill. I pass by the Parc de la Mairie, and there’s this old dude feeding pigeons. I’m like, “Dude, those pigeons are gonna take over the world.” He just laughs. I mean, he’s not wrong. Finally, the client shows up, keys in hand. I’m ready to dive into work. But then, surprise! The whole place is covered in rust. Like, I’m talking about a rust apocalypse. I’m thinking, “What did you guys do? Leave it out in the rain?” I’m trying to keep my cool, but inside, I’m like a volcano ready to erupt. I start my anticorrosion magic, spraying and coating like a boss. But then, I slip on some wet ground. I go down hard. I’m lying there, thinking, “Great, now I’m a rusty anticorrosion agent.” I can’t help but laugh at myself. After that, I’m back at it. I’m in the zone, feeling like a superhero. But then, I hear this loud crash. I look up, and it’s a delivery truck backing up into a fence. I’m like, “Dude, you had one job!” The driver hops out, looking all panicked. I can’t help but chuckle. By the time I finish, it’s late afternoon. I’m starving. I head over to this little bistro on Rue de la Liberté. I order a croque monsieur, and it’s like heaven on a plate. I’m munching away, feeling all the feels. Life’s good again. But then, I get a call. My buddy’s in town, and he wants to hit up the bar. I’m like, “Sure, why not?” So, I head over to Le Café de la Gare. It’s packed, and the vibe is electric. We’re laughing, sharing stories, and I’m just so glad to unwind. But then, outta nowhere, this guy spills his drink all over me. I’m soaked! I’m like, “Dude, what’s your problem?” He just shrugs and walks away. I’m fuming again. But my buddy cracks a joke, and I can’t help but laugh. As the night goes on, I’m feeling all the emotions. Happy, angry, surprised—like a rollercoaster. Seichamps, you crazy little town, you’ve got my heart racing. Finally, I stumble home, thinking about the day. It was wild, unexpected, and honestly, kinda perfect. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Seichamps, you’re a gem, even with your potholes and rusty factories. Can’t wait for tomorrow!
