Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in Sully-sur-Loire, right? Beautiful little town, but today? Ugh. First off, I’m late for work. Classic me. I rush outta my apartment on Rue de la République, and guess what? My bike’s got a flat. Great start, huh? I’m like, “Really? Today of all days?” So, I’m sprinting down the street, dodging tourists and their cameras. Like, chill, it’s just a bridge! Anyway, I finally get to the office on Rue de la Mairie, and it’s chaos. My boss is yelling about some paperwork. I’m like, “Dude, it’s just admin stuff!” But nooo, it’s gotta be perfect. I mean, we’re in Sully-sur-Loire, not Paris! Then, outta nowhere, the fire alarm goes off. I’m thinking, “Is this a drill?!” Nope. Actual fire. So, we all pile out onto the street. I’m standing there, freezing my butt off, and I see the old church, Église Saint-Germain. It’s so pretty, but I can’t appreciate it right now. I’m just mad. After the fire brigade clears us, I head back in. My lunch? Gone. Someone swiped my sandwich! I’m like, “Who does that?!” I mean, it’s not like I’m in a fancy restaurant. It’s just a baguette from the corner shop on Rue de la Loire. Finally, I get a break. I step outside for some fresh air. The Loire River is right there, and it’s kinda calming. I see some kids playing by the water, and I’m like, “Aww, that’s cute.” But then, one of them slips and falls in! Total chaos. Parents are screaming, and I’m just standing there, like, “What do I do?” Turns out, the kid’s fine. Just a little wet. But man, my heart was racing! I head back to the office, and my coworker, Marie, is cracking jokes about it. She’s hilarious. I needed that laugh. Later, I’m trying to finish up some reports, and my computer crashes. I’m like, “Are you kidding me?!” I swear, I could’ve thrown it out the window. But then I remember, we’re on Rue de la République, and I don’t wanna be that person. Finally, the day winds down. I’m exhausted. I walk home, and the sunset over the Loire is stunning. I stop at the bridge, just taking it all in. Sully-sur-Loire, you’re beautiful, but today? You tested me! I get home, plop on the couch, and think, “What a ride.” I mean, who knew a day in this little town could be so wild? I love it here, but man, I need a drink. Cheers to surviving another day!
