Man, what a day! I’m a shepherd, right? But today, I felt more like a lost sheep in Tergnier. Seriously, I woke up thinking it’d be chill. Just me, my flock, and the fields. But nah, life had other plans. So, I’m strolling down Rue de la République, just minding my own business, when I see this huge crowd. Like, what’s going on? Turns out, it’s some kinda market day. I’m thinking, “Sweet, maybe I can grab some fresh bread.” But nooo, it’s packed! I’m dodging people like I’m in a video game. Then, I spot this old dude selling cheese. I love cheese, man! I’m like, “Yo, give me that brie!” But he’s all, “Only for the fancy folks.” I’m like, “Dude, I’m a shepherd! I’m fancy in my own way!” But he just laughs. Rude, right? Anyway, I finally get my bread. It’s warm and crusty, just how I like it. I’m walking down Rue de la Gare, feeling like a king. But then, bam! A pigeon poops on my shoulder. Like, really? I’m just trying to enjoy my day! I’m standing there, looking like a mess, and people are snickering. Ugh, so embarrassing! So, I decide to head to Parc de la Mairie. It’s a nice spot, you know? Green grass, trees, and all that jazz. I plop down on a bench, trying to shake off the pigeon drama. I take a bite of my bread, and it’s heavenly. But then, I see this kid running around with a kite. And I’m like, “Man, I wish I could fly like that.” But then, outta nowhere, the kite gets stuck in a tree. The kid’s crying, and I’m like, “C’mon, it’s just a kite!” But I get it. I mean, I’d be upset too. So, I go over and help him out. I’m climbing the tree like a pro, and the kid’s cheering me on. Finally, I get the kite down, and he’s all smiles. That made my day, for real. But then, I hear this loud noise. It’s coming from Rue de la Liberté. I’m curious, so I head over. Turns out, it’s a street performer doing some crazy juggling act. I’m watching, and I can’t help but laugh. He drops a ball, and it rolls right to my feet. I pick it up and toss it back. He winks at me, and I’m like, “Yeah, I’m part of the show now!” After that, I’m feeling good. I decide to grab a drink at this little café on Rue de la Paix. I order a café au lait, and it’s like a warm hug in a cup. I sit outside, watching the world go by. Tergnier is buzzing, man. People chatting, kids playing, life happening. But then, I see this guy arguing with a woman. They’re going at it, and I’m like, “Dude, chill!” But they don’t listen. It’s wild. I’m just sipping my coffee, trying to mind my own business, but it’s hard not to eavesdrop. Finally, I head back home, my head spinning with all the craziness. I’m exhausted but happy. Tergnier is a wild place, man. Full of surprises. I love it, even with the pigeon poop and the drama. So yeah, that was my day. Just a shepherd trying to navigate the chaos of Tergnier. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
