Man, what a day! I swear, being a machine milking operator ain't just about cows and machines. Nah, today was a wild ride in Tours, France. Like, who knew this city could throw so much at ya? So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. I grab my coffee from this cute little café on Rue Colbert. Best croissants ever, by the way. I mean, I could live off those flaky, buttery dreams. But I digress. I head to the farm, all pumped. But then, bam! The milking machine decides it’s on strike. Like, really? I’m standing there, looking at this thing like it just insulted my mother. I’m sweating bullets, thinking, “Great, I’m gonna be late.” So, I’m fiddling with the machine, cursing under my breath. I mean, I love my job, but machines can be such divas! Finally, I get it working, but not before I spill some milk. Ugh! I’m like, “This is why we can’t have nice things!” After that chaos, I decide to take a breather. I stroll down Rue Nationale, and man, the vibe is just chef’s kiss. Street performers, artists, and all that jazz. I stop to watch this dude juggling flaming torches. I’m thinking, “Bro, you’re either brave or just plain crazy.” Then, I hit up the Place Plumereau. It’s packed! People everywhere, laughing, chatting, and I’m just trying to blend in. I grab a crêpe from a stand. Nutella and banana, obviously. I take a bite, and it’s like a party in my mouth. I’m smiling like an idiot, and I don’t even care. But then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring. I mean, come on! I’m dodging raindrops like I’m in some action movie. I duck into a shop on Rue des Halles, and it’s this tiny little place selling vintage stuff. I find this old vinyl record of Edith Piaf. I’m like, “Yes, please!” Finally, the rain stops, and I’m feeling good again. I head back to the farm, ready to tackle the rest of the day. But guess what? The cows are acting up! They’re mooing like they’re auditioning for a musical. I’m trying to calm them down, but they’re just not having it. I’m like, “Guys, chill! We gotta work here!” By the end of the day, I’m exhausted but happy. I sit on my porch, sipping some wine, thinking about all the craziness. Tours is wild, man. It’s got this energy that just pulls you in. I love it, even when it drives me nuts. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but that’s life, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings. Maybe less drama? Who am I kidding? Bring it on!
