Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still buzzing from all the craziness in Vigneux-de-Bretagne. Like, where do I even start? So, I woke up late, as usual. Alarm? Nah, who needs that? I rushed outta my place on Rue de la Mairie, barely had time for coffee. I mean, who can function without caffeine, right? But I was like, “Let’s do this!” First stop, the market at Place de l’Église. It’s always a vibe there. Fresh fruits, veggies, and the smell of baked goods. I swear, I could live off those pastries. But then, bam! I tripped over a crate of apples. Like, really? Who leaves apples just lying around? I was mad, but then I saw this cute dog. Instant mood lift! After that, I decided to stroll down Rue des Écoles. It’s a chill street, you know? Kids laughing, people chatting. But then, outta nowhere, this kid on a bike zooms past me and nearly knocks me over. I yelled, “Hey, watch it!” He just laughed. Kids these days, right? Then I hit up the local café, Le Café de la Gare. Best coffee in town, no contest. I ordered a cappuccino, and while I waited, I overheard this convo about the town’s history. Apparently, Vigneux-de-Bretagne has roots going back to the Middle Ages. Crazy, huh? I mean, I knew it was old, but wow. So, I’m sipping my coffee, feeling all cultured, when I get a text. My buddy wants to meet up at Parc de la Mairie. I’m like, “Sure, why not?” I finish my drink, and as I’m leaving, I spot this street performer. He’s playing the accordion, and honestly, it was kinda magical. I tossed him a couple of euros. At the park, my buddy is late. Typical. I’m sitting there, people-watching. There’s this family having a picnic, and I’m low-key jealous. I mean, who doesn’t love a good picnic? But then, I see a squirrel stealing their sandwich. Hilarious! Finally, my buddy shows up, and we decide to grab some food. We hit up this little bistro on Rue de la Liberté. The food? Amazing! I had this dish called galette, and it was to die for. But then, the waiter spills water all over my lap. I was like, “Dude, really?” But we laughed it off. After dinner, we wandered around, checking out the local shops. I found this quirky little store selling vintage stuff. I mean, who doesn’t love a good thrift find? I snagged an old vinyl record. Totally worth it! As the sun set, the sky turned this beautiful orange. I felt so grateful. Vigneux-de-Bretagne, with its charm and quirks, really got to me today. I mean, yeah, I got mad, I laughed, I even got a bit emotional. By the time I got home, I was exhausted but happy. What a rollercoaster! Vigneux-de-Bretagne, you’ve got my heart. Can’t wait for the next adventure!
