Man, today was a wild ride in Villers-Saint-Paul! Like, I woke up thinking it’d be just another chill day, ya know? But nah, the universe had other plans. So, I’m rollin’ outta bed, still half-asleep, and I’m like, “Let’s grab some coffee.” I hit up this little café on Rue de la République. Best coffee in town, no cap. I order my usual, a double espresso, and the barista, this cool dude named Max, is like, “You look like you need a triple today.” I laugh, but he’s kinda right. I step outside, and boom! It’s raining cats and dogs. I mean, seriously, Villers-Saint-Paul, what’s up with the weather? One minute it’s sunny, next it’s a monsoon. I’m dodging puddles on Rue de la Gare, trying not to ruin my kicks. Then, I get this text from my buddy, Leo. He’s like, “Dude, you gotta come to the park!” I’m thinking, “What park? It’s pouring!” But Leo’s persistent. He’s at Parc des Chênes, and apparently, there’s some street art thing happening. I’m like, “Fine, let’s do this.” I sprint over, soaked to the bone. When I get there, it’s a total vibe! Artists everywhere, spray paint flying, music bumpin’. I’m hyped! I grab my sketchbook and start doodling. But then, outta nowhere, this guy trips and spills paint all over my stuff. I’m like, “Are you kidding me?!” But then, I see the dude’s face. He’s so sorry, and honestly, it’s kinda funny. We end up laughing about it. His name’s Sam, and he’s a total character. We start chatting about art, and he shows me his work. Dude’s got talent! After that, I’m feeling all inspired, right? So, I decide to take a stroll down Rue de la Liberté. It’s one of my fave streets. The vibe is just chill, ya know? I stop by this little shop, “Les Petits Pains.” They have the best pastries. I grab a pain au chocolat, and it’s like heaven in my mouth. But then, I see this old lady struggling with her groceries. I rush over, and I’m like, “Hey, let me help you!” She’s super grateful, and we start chatting. Turns out, she’s lived in Villers-Saint-Paul her whole life. She tells me stories about the town, how it’s changed over the years. It’s kinda heartwarming, honestly. But then, I get a call from my boss. “We need that animation by tomorrow!” I’m like, “Are you serious?!” I just had the most emotional day, and now I gotta work? Ugh! I rush home, and I’m trying to focus, but my mind’s all over the place. I can’t stop thinking about the park, the rain, the old lady. It’s like Villers-Saint-Paul is alive, and I’m just a part of it. Finally, I sit down and start animating. I pour all my feelings into it. The chaos, the laughter, the unexpected moments. It’s like I’m capturing the essence of the day. By the time I finish, it’s late. I’m exhausted but happy. Villers-Saint-Paul, you crazy little town, you’ve got my heart. What a day!
