Man, what a day! I woke up in Villiers-sur-Marne, and I swear, the sun was shining like it was trying to blind me. I mean, c'mon, it’s too early for this! I grabbed my coffee from that little café on Rue de la République. You know the one? The barista there is always grumpy, but I kinda love it. Adds character, right? So, I’m sippin’ my coffee, and I’m thinking, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First client of the day, this dude walks in, and he’s all over the place. Like, bro, can you focus? He starts talking about his cat, Mr. Whiskers, and how he thinks the cat is judging him. I’m like, “Dude, it’s a cat. They judge everyone.” But then he gets all emotional, and I’m like, “Okay, let’s unpack this.” After that, I needed a breather. I strolled down Avenue de la République, just trying to clear my head. The trees were all green and stuff, and I thought, “Wow, nature is pretty.” But then I tripped over a crack in the sidewalk. Seriously, Villiers, fix your streets! I was mad, like, “Who do I need to talk to about this?” Next, I had a session with a teenager. Ugh, the drama! She was all about her friends and social media. I mean, I get it, but c’mon, it’s not the end of the world if you don’t get likes. I tried to explain that, but she rolled her eyes so hard, I thought they’d get stuck. Kids these days, right? Then, I had a lunch break. I hit up this little bistro on Rue de la Fontaine. The food? Amazing! I had a croque monsieur that was so cheesy, I thought I was gonna melt. But then, the waiter spilled water all over me. Like, really? I was soaked! I laughed it off, but inside, I was like, “This is not my day.” After lunch, I had a session with a couple. Oh boy, the tension! They were arguing about who left the toilet seat up. I mean, c’mon, people! Priorities! I tried to mediate, but it turned into a full-on debate. I was just sitting there, thinking, “This is why I need a vacation.” By the time I wrapped up, I was exhausted. I decided to take a walk around Parc de la Mairie. It’s so pretty there, with the flowers and the little pond. I sat on a bench, just trying to breathe. And then, outta nowhere, a kid runs by with a balloon, and it pops! The look on his face was priceless! I couldn’t help but laugh. But then, I got a text from a friend. “Hey, let’s hit up that new bar on Rue de la Gare!” I was like, “Why not?” So, I freshened up and headed out. The bar was packed! Music blasting, people laughing. I ordered a drink, and it was strong. Like, “Whoa, slow down there, bartender!” I ended up chatting with some locals. They were super chill, sharing stories about Villiers. One guy told me about the history of the town, how it used to be a quiet little village. Now it’s all bustling and lively. I felt a sense of pride, you know? As the night went on, I realized how much I love this place. Sure, the streets are a mess, and people can be dramatic, but it’s home. Villiers-sur-Marne, with all its quirks, is where I belong. Finally, I stumbled back home, exhausted but happy. What a day! I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
