Man, what a day! I woke up in Corfu, and let me tell ya, it was a rollercoaster. First off, the sun was blazin’ like it was tryin’ to roast me alive. I mean, come on, it’s like 30 degrees at 8 AM! I stumbled outta my hotel on Liston Street, which is like the heart of the city. It’s all fancy with those old-school cafes and stuff. I thought, “Hey, let’s grab a coffee.” So, I hit up this little joint called Café Kanoni. The view? OMG, breathtaking! You can see the Mouse Island. I mean, who names an island after a mouse? 😂 But it’s cute, I guess. Anyway, I ordered a freddo cappuccino, and the barista was like, “You want it sweet?” I’m like, “Dude, I’m sweet enough!” After my caffeine fix, I decided to explore. I wandered down to Spianada Square. It’s the biggest square in Greece, and it was packed! Tourists everywhere, like ants at a picnic. I was dodging people left and right. I swear, I almost tripped over a kid. Not my fault, though! Then, I hit up the Old Fortress. Wow, just wow. The views from up there? Insane! But climbing those stairs? My legs were screaming. I thought I was gonna die. But then I saw this couple taking selfies, and I was like, “If they can do it, so can I!” So, I took a selfie too. #FortressVibes, right? But then, oh man, I got lost. Like, seriously lost. I ended up on a tiny street called Kapsali. It was so narrow, I thought I’d get stuck. I was like, “Help! I’m trapped in a Greek maze!” But then I found this little taverna, and the smell of grilled octopus pulled me in. I mean, who can resist that? I sat down, and the waiter was super chill. He was like, “You gotta try the moussaka.” I was like, “Sure, why not?” And let me tell ya, it was heavenly! I was in food paradise. I was so happy, I almost cried. But then, disaster struck. My phone died! I was like, “Noooo! How will I find my way back?” Panic mode activated. I asked a local for directions, and he just laughed. “You’re in Corfu, just follow the sea!” I was like, “Dude, I don’t even know where the sea is!” So, I wandered around, trying to find my way back to the Liston. I passed by the Church of Saint Spyridon. It’s got this red dome that’s hard to miss. I thought, “Maybe I should pray for my phone?” 😂 Finally, I made it back to the main square, and I was so relieved. I plopped down on a bench, and just soaked it all in. The vibe, the people, the food. Corfu is wild! As the sun set, everything turned golden. I felt this wave of happiness wash over me. I thought, “This day was crazy, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.” So yeah, Corfu, you’ve got my heart. Even if I got lost, roasted, and almost cried over my phone. What a day!
