Man, what a day! Seriously, Dugo-Selo, you’ve outdone yourself. I woke up thinking it’d be just another chill day, but nah, the universe had other plans. First off, I hit the streets of Dugo-Selo, right? I’m cruising down Ulica Kralja Tomislava, feeling all good. The sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be lit!” But then, bam! I step in a puddle. A freakin’ puddle! Who even knew it rained? My shoes are soaked, and I’m already fuming. Like, come on, universe, give me a break! So, I’m walking, trying to shake it off, and I pass by the old train station. You know, the one that’s been there since forever? It’s got that vintage vibe, but man, it’s also kinda creepy. I swear I saw a ghost. Or maybe it was just a stray cat. Either way, I’m not sticking around to find out. Then I hit up the market on Trg Stjepana Radića. It’s buzzing, right? People everywhere, shouting about fresh veggies and homemade pastries. I’m like, “Yesss, give me all the pastries!” But then, I see this old dude trying to haggle over a cucumber. A cucumber! I mean, dude, it’s not that serious. Just buy the damn cucumber and move on! Anyway, I grab a few pastries (they were bomb, by the way) and head over to Ulica Vukovarska. I’m munching away, feeling like a king, when I hear this loud crash. I turn around, and some guy just knocked over a whole stand of oranges. Oranges everywhere! It was like a citrus explosion. I couldn’t help but laugh. Like, how clumsy can you be? But then, outta nowhere, this lady starts yelling at him. “You ruined my oranges!” she screams. I’m standing there, half-eating my pastry, thinking, “Lady, it’s just fruit!” But she’s going off, and I’m just trying to enjoy my snack. After that chaos, I decide to chill at the park near Ulica Janka Draškovića. It’s usually peaceful, right? But today, there’s a bunch of kids playing soccer, and they’re loud as hell. I’m trying to relax, but all I hear is “GOAL!” and “Pass it!” I’m like, “Can’t a guy catch a break?” But then, one of the kids kicks the ball too hard, and it comes flying right at me. I duck just in time, but it hits this old lady sitting nearby. She’s not happy, let me tell ya. She starts waving her cane around, and I’m just standing there, frozen. I’m thinking, “This is how I die. Killed by a soccer ball and an angry grandma.” Finally, I decide to head home. I’m walking down Ulica Jure Kaštelana, and I see this cute little café. I’m like, “Why not?” I grab a coffee, and it’s the best decision ever. I sit outside, sipping my drink, and just watch the world go by. Dugo-Selo is wild, man. One minute you’re stepping in puddles, the next you’re dodging soccer balls. It’s a rollercoaster, and I’m here for it. I love this place, even with all its craziness. So yeah, that was my day. Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of chaos. Just another day in Dugo-Selo, I guess!
