Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being an abrasive blaster in Makarska is a wild ride. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s blazin’ through my window on Kralja Tomislava. I’m like, “Great, another scorcher.” But hey, I love this city. The sea’s right there, the vibe’s chill, and the coffee? Don’t even get me started. I grab my usual at this little café on Obala kralja Tomislava. Best espresso ever! I’m sippin’ it, and boom! I spill half of it on my shirt. Classic me, right? I’m like, “Great, now I look like a coffee monster.” But whatever, I’m rollin’ with it. So, I head to the job site. We’re workin’ on this old building near the main square. You know, the one with the cool stone walls? Yeah, that one. I’m all geared up, ready to blast away. But then, outta nowhere, this seagull swoops down and steals my sandwich! Like, seriously? I’m just tryin’ to eat here! I’m yellin’, “Hey! That’s my lunch!” But the bird’s like, “Nah, bro, this is mine now.” I finally get to work, and man, the dust is flyin’. I’m blasting away, and it feels good. The sound of the machine is like music to my ears. But then, my buddy Luka shows up. He’s always got some crazy story. Today, he’s talkin’ about this time he tried to swim to the island of Brač. I’m like, “Dude, you can’t even swim!” He just laughs and says, “Yeah, but I made it halfway!” Then, outta nowhere, this old lady walks by. She’s on D8, and she stops to watch us. She’s got this look like we’re aliens or somethin’. I’m thinkin’, “Lady, we’re just tryin’ to make a livin’ here!” But she starts yellin’ about how we’re ruining the beauty of Makarska. I’m like, “C’mon, we’re just doin’ our job!” After a while, I take a break. I’m sittin’ on the steps of St. Mark’s Church, just chillin’. The view is insane. The mountains, the sea, the whole vibe. I can’t help but smile. This place is magic, ya know? But then, I see a group of tourists takin’ selfies. They’re all like, “Look at the beautiful church!” And I’m thinkin’, “Yeah, but have you seen the view from up there?” So, I head back to work, and things get crazy. The machine starts actin’ up. I’m like, “No, no, no! Not now!” I’m tryin’ to fix it, but it’s like it has a mind of its own. I’m gettin’ frustrated, and Luka’s just laughin’ at me. “You sure you know what you’re doin’?” he teases. I’m like, “Of course I do! Just… give me a sec!” Finally, I get it workin’ again. I’m back to blasting, and it feels good. But then, I see that same seagull again. This time, it’s eyein’ my tools! I’m like, “Dude, you’ve already taken my lunch! Back off!” As the day winds down, I’m exhausted but happy. I love this city, even with its quirks. Makarska’s got this energy that just pulls you in. The streets, the people, the sea—it’s all part of the chaos. I pack up my stuff and head to the beach. The sunset is unreal. I sit there, watchin’ the sky turn all these crazy colors. I think about the day—seagulls, tourists, and all. It’s wild, but it’s my life. And I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So, yeah, that was my day in Makarska. Just another crazy, beautiful day in this amazing place. Can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow!
