Man, what a day! I swear, being a shepherd in Pazin is like being in a soap opera. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m thinkin’, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Not even close. First off, I head down to the main square, Trg Slobode. It’s usually pretty quiet, but today? Nah, it’s packed! Tourists everywhere, snapping pics like they’re at a rock concert. I’m just tryna get my coffee from that little café, you know, the one on the corner of Ulica Istarskog Razvoda. I’m in line, and this guy in front of me drops his phone. Boom! Cracked screen. I’m like, “Dude, welcome to the club.” I mean, who doesn’t have a cracked screen these days? Finally, I get my coffee, and I’m feelin’ good. But then, I see my sheep, right? They’re just chillin’ by the Pazin Castle, munching on some grass like they own the place. I’m like, “Hey! Get back here!” But they just look at me like, “Nah, we’re good.” I swear, they have a mind of their own. So, I chase them down, and let me tell ya, running after sheep is not as glamorous as it sounds. I’m dodging tourists, tripping over cobblestones on Ulica Kralja Tomislava, and I’m pretty sure I scared a couple of kids. Oops! Sorry, kiddos! After finally wrangling my woolly friends, I decide to take a breather by the Pazin Cave. It’s this cool spot, right? But today, it’s packed with people. I’m sittin’ there, sipping my coffee, and this group of tourists starts talking about how they wanna explore the cave. I’m like, “Good luck with that, folks. You’ll need a map and a guide.” Then, outta nowhere, this old lady comes up to me. She’s got this wild hair and a big smile. She starts telling me about her life in Pazin. I’m thinkin’, “Wow, this lady’s got stories!” She’s talking about the old days, how the streets used to be empty, and how she used to sneak into the castle. I’m just nodding, but inside I’m like, “Lady, I’m just here for my sheep.” But then, she says something that hits me. She goes, “You know, every day is an adventure if you let it be.” And I’m like, “Damn, that’s deep.” So, I decide to take a different route back home. I wander down some random alley, and I find this little shop selling handmade stuff. I end up buying a weird-looking sheep figurine. Why? I don’t know. It just spoke to me, I guess. On my way back, I pass by the Pazin River. It’s beautiful, man. The water’s glistening, and I’m just standing there, soaking it all in. But then, I see a bunch of kids jumping in. I’m like, “Are you crazy? It’s freezing!” But they’re laughing, having the time of their lives. I can’t help but smile. Finally, I get home, and I’m exhausted. I plop down on my couch, and I’m like, “What a day!” I think about the old lady’s words. Maybe I should embrace the chaos more. Life’s too short to be serious all the time, right? So, yeah, that was my day in Pazin. Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of chaos. Just another day in the life of a shepherd, I guess. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
