Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in Pula, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I’m an accountant. Yeah, I know, super exciting, right? But I love numbers. They don’t judge. Anyway, I’m walking down Flavijevska ulica, coffee in hand, feeling like a boss. Then BAM! I trip over a cobblestone. Classic Pula, with its ancient streets and all. I spill my coffee everywhere. Like, seriously? My day’s already starting off on the wrong foot. So, I finally get to the office, and my boss is in a mood. He’s pacing around like he’s training for a marathon or something. “We need to talk about the quarterly reports!” he says. I’m like, “Dude, chill. It’s not even noon.” But no, he’s all about the numbers. I mean, I get it, but come on! After that, I head out for lunch. I’m thinking, “Let’s hit up a konoba.” You know, one of those cozy little places? I go to Konoba Batel, and the food is bomb! I order some fresh seafood, and it’s like a party in my mouth. But then, I see a seagull eyeing my plate. I swear, that bird was plotting my demise. I’m like, “Back off, you feathered fiend!” Then, I get a call from a client. They’re freaking out about their taxes. I’m like, “Dude, it’s not the end of the world.” But they’re screaming about some new law or whatever. I’m trying to explain it, but they’re not having it. I’m standing there on the street, near the Arena, trying to keep my cool. People are walking by, and I’m just there, waving my hands like a madman. Finally, I hang up, and I’m like, “What just happened?” I need a drink. So, I hit up a bar on Ulica Sergijevaca. I order a local beer, and it’s like liquid gold. I sit there, trying to forget the chaos. But then, I overhear some tourists talking about the Roman ruins. They’re all excited, and I’m like, “Yeah, Pula’s got history, but have you tried the gelato?” After that, I decide to take a stroll by the harbor. The sunset is gorgeous, like a painting or something. I’m feeling all philosophical, thinking about life and numbers. But then, I see a couple arguing. Like, come on, guys! You’re in Pula! Enjoy the view! As I’m walking back, I bump into an old friend. We start chatting about life, and it’s all good vibes. But then, out of nowhere, he mentions he’s moving away. I’m like, “What? No way!” It hits me hard. Pula’s a small town, and losing friends sucks. By the time I get home, I’m exhausted. I flop on my couch, and I’m like, “What a rollercoaster.” I think about the day—tripping, coffee spills, angry clients, and beautiful sunsets. Pula’s got its quirks, but it’s home. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Pula, you crazy city, you’ve got my heart.
