OMG, what a day! So, I’m a babysitter, right? And today was just... wow. I mean, I thought I was ready for anything, but Acs (hu) threw me some serious curveballs. First off, I got to the family’s place on Kossuth Lajos utca. Nice street, but like, the traffic was nuts! I swear, I almost got run over by a bike. Who knew cyclists could be so aggressive? Anyway, I finally made it inside, and the kids were already bouncing off the walls. Like, chill, guys! So, I’m trying to get them to settle down, right? We’re in the living room, and I’m like, “Let’s play a game!” But noooo, they wanna watch some weird cartoon about talking vegetables. I mean, what even is that? I’m all for healthy eating, but c’mon! Then, outta nowhere, the youngest, little Lili, spills juice all over the carpet. I’m like, “Great, just what I needed!” I’m scrambling to clean it up, and she’s just giggling like it’s the funniest thing ever. Kids, man. They have no idea how much work it is to babysit them. After the juice fiasco, we decided to go outside. We hit up the park on Széchenyi utca. It’s a cute little spot, but it was packed! I mean, who knew so many people would be out on a Tuesday? I’m trying to keep an eye on Lili and her brother, Bence, but they’re running in different directions. I’m like a human ping pong ball, bouncing back and forth. At one point, Bence climbs a tree. I’m standing there, heart racing, thinking, “What if he falls?” But he’s up there like a little monkey, waving at me. I’m yelling, “Get down, you little daredevil!” But he just laughs. Ugh, kids! Then, surprise surprise, it starts to rain. Like, seriously? I look up, and it’s sunny one minute, and the next, it’s pouring. We sprint back to the house, soaked to the bone. I’m laughing, but also kinda mad. I mean, can’t a babysitter catch a break? Back at the house, I’m trying to dry off, and Lili decides it’s a good time to show me her dance moves. She’s twirling around, and I’m just standing there, dripping wet, trying not to slip on the floor. It’s hilarious, though. She’s got some serious moves! After the dance party, we finally settle down with some snacks. I whip out some cookies I brought. They’re a hit! I’m feeling like a rockstar babysitter. But then, Bence starts telling me about this monster he saw in the park. I’m like, “Dude, it was just a dog.” But he’s convinced it was a monster. Kids have the wildest imaginations! As the day winds down, I’m exhausted but happy. I mean, yeah, it was chaotic, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Acs (hu) is such a cool place, and these kids make it even better. Finally, the parents come home, and I’m like, “You owe me big time!” They laugh, and I’m just glad I survived the day. I head out, still thinking about that monster story. Who knows? Maybe Bence is onto something. So yeah, that was my day in Acs. Crazy, emotional, and totally worth it. Can’t wait for the next adventure!
