Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a swineherd in Budapest-XII.-keruelet is no walk in the park. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I head outta my little place on Kék Golyó utca. Love that street, but it’s got its quirks. Like, why’s there always a random cat chillin’ on my porch? I swear, that cat thinks it owns the place. Anyway, I grab my trusty pig whistle and head to the market. Gotta get some grub for my swine, ya know? So, I’m walking down Hunyadi János utca, and boom! I trip over a cobblestone. Classic me, right? I’m like, “Great, just what I needed.” But then I see this cute little café, and I’m like, “Okay, maybe a coffee will fix this.” I order a cappuccino, and the barista, this dude with a mustache that could rival a walrus, gives me a weird look. Like, bro, it’s just coffee. Chill. After my caffeine fix, I head to the park by the Normafa. Man, that place is beautiful! Trees everywhere, people jogging, kids playing. I’m just vibin’, thinking about life and my pigs. But then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by, and I swear he almost knocks me over. I’m like, “Hey, watch it, kid!” But he just laughs and keeps running. Kids these days, right? So, I finally get to the pig pen. My little buddies are all there, snorting and doing their thing. I’m feeling good, but then I notice one of ‘em, Pötyi, is missing. Panic mode activated! I’m running around like a headless chicken, calling out, “Pötyi! Where you at, buddy?” I’m sweating bullets, thinking I’m gonna lose my job. Then I spot him. He’s just chillin’ by the fountain on Széher út, munching on some grass like he owns the place. I’m like, “Dude, you can’t just roam free!” But honestly, I can’t help but laugh. He’s such a character. After the Pötyi drama, I decide to take a break. I hit up this little bakery on Kék Golyó utca again. Best pastries ever! I grab a couple of túrós rétes, and I’m in heaven. Seriously, if you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out. But then, as I’m munching away, I overhear this couple arguing. They’re going at it, and I’m just sitting there, trying to enjoy my pastry. I’m thinking, “Man, can’t you see I’m busy here?” But it’s like a soap opera. The drama! Finally, I head back home, exhausted but happy. I plop down on my couch, and I’m like, “What a day.” I think about all the craziness, the laughs, the surprises. Budapest-XII.-keruelet, you never cease to amaze me. So, yeah, that was my day. Just another wild ride as a swineherd in this beautiful city. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
