Man, what a day! I swear, Kispest is wild. Like, I thought I knew this place, but today? Total rollercoaster. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up the local café on Kossuth Lajos utca. You know, the one with the weirdly good pastries? I grab my usual—cappuccino and a croissant. But guess what? They ran outta croissants! Like, how do you run out of croissants in the morning? I was ready to throw a fit. I mean, c’mon, it’s Kispest! Get your act together! So, I settle for a muffin. Not the same vibe, but whatever. I’m sipping my coffee, scrolling through my phone, and BOOM! My webcam biz gets a huge order. Like, HUGE. I’m talking about a whole studio setup for some influencer. I’m pumped! But then, I realize I gotta deliver it today. Ugh, stress level: 1000. I rush outta the café, and it’s like the universe is against me. I’m dodging people on Fő utca, trying not to spill my coffee. And then, I see this old dude walking his dog. The dog decides to take a dump right in the middle of the sidewalk. Classic Kispest, right? I’m like, “Dude, can’t you pick that up?” But he just shrugs. I mean, come on! Anyway, I finally make it to my place, and I’m packing up the gear. I’m sweating bullets, man. I grab my stuff and head out. I’m cruising down the streets, feeling like a boss. But then, I hit a red light at the corner of Kispest and Kossuth. I’m stuck there, and I see this kid on a bike. He’s doing tricks, like he’s in the X Games or something. I’m just sitting there, thinking, “Man, I wish I could do that.” Light turns green, and I zoom off. I’m almost at the delivery spot when my phone buzzes. It’s the client. They want to change the order. Like, seriously? Right now? I’m about to lose it. I’m like, “Dude, I’m on my way!” But they’re all, “Can you add a ring light?” I’m thinking, “Sure, let me just pull that outta my magic hat.” Finally, I get to the place, and it’s this fancy apartment on Kispest’s main square. I’m hauling my gear up the stairs, and I’m sweating like a pig. I knock, and this girl opens the door. She’s super chill, but I can tell she’s a bit of a diva. She’s like, “Where’s my ring light?” I’m like, “Uh, I’m working on it!” We set everything up, and she’s all over the place. “Can you move that? No, not there! Over here!” I’m losing my mind. But then, she turns on the camera, and she’s like a total pro. I’m standing there, watching her, and I’m like, “Wow, this is kinda cool.” After the setup, she thanks me, and I’m feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. Like, maybe this job isn’t so bad after all. I head out, and as I’m walking back, I pass by the park on Kispest. It’s packed with families, kids running around, and I’m just soaking it all in. But then, I see a guy trying to impress a girl with his skateboard. He totally wipes out. I can’t help but laugh. Kispest, man. It’s got everything. I finally get home, and I’m exhausted. But I can’t stop smiling. Today was a mess, but it was MY mess. And that’s what makes it all worth it. Kispest, you crazy place, I love ya!
