Wow, what a day in Miskolc! Seriously, I can’t even. It started off like any other day, right? I woke up, groggy as hell, and thought, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit the streets of Miskolc, and let me tell ya, the vibe was off. I mean, I love this city, but today? Ugh. I was walking down Széchenyi Street, and it was packed. Like, where did all these people come from? I felt like I was in a sardine can. Then, outta nowhere, I hear this loud honking. I look up, and it’s some dude in a car, yelling at a pigeon. A PIGEON! Like, bro, chill. It’s just a bird. But the pigeon? It just stood there, like it owned the place. Classic Miskolc moment, right? So, I finally make it to my fave café, the Római Kert. I’m craving a cappuccino, like, you have no idea. I order, and the barista—who’s always super chill—looks at me and says, “Sorry, we’re out of coffee.” WHAT?! Out of coffee in a café? I mean, c’mon! I was ready to throw a fit. But I just laughed it off. What else can ya do? After that, I decided to take a stroll by the Miskolc Castle. It’s beautiful, right? But today, it was swarming with tourists. I mean, I get it, it’s a cool spot, but I just wanted some peace. I tried to snap a pic, but some kid photobombed me. Ugh! I was like, “Dude, really?” But then I saw his goofy face and couldn’t help but laugh. Kids, man. Next, I headed to the Lillafüred area. It’s stunning, with the waterfalls and all. I thought, “Finally, some nature!” But nope. I get there, and it’s like a concert. People everywhere, music blasting. I just wanted to chill by the water, but instead, I got a full-on rave. I mean, who knew Miskolc could throw a party like that? Then, I met up with my buddy at the Miskolc Plaza. We were supposed to grab some food, but guess what? The place was packed. I mean, I love a good crowd, but this was ridiculous. We ended up at some random street food stall. I got a lángos, and let me tell ya, it was the best decision ever. Greasy, cheesy goodness. I was in heaven. But then, outta nowhere, it started pouring. Like, seriously? I’m standing there, trying to eat my food, and I’m getting drenched. My buddy just laughs and says, “Welcome to Miskolc!” I couldn’t help but laugh too. It’s like the city was playing a prank on me. By the time I got home, I was exhausted. I flopped on my couch, thinking about the day. It was chaotic, funny, and just plain weird. But that’s Miskolc for ya. It’s unpredictable, and that’s what I love about it. So yeah, that was my day. Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of frustration. But hey, that’s life, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
