Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in Szentes, right? The sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I grab my coffee at my fave spot on Kossuth Lajos utca. You know, the little café with the weirdly awesome pastries? Yeah, that one. I’m standing there, half-asleep, and this dude in front of me orders, like, 10 different things. I’m just trying to get my cappuccino, man! I’m like, “C’mon, bro, it’s not a buffet!” Finally, I get my coffee and head to the counseling center on Ady Endre utca. I’m feeling good, ready to help people. But then, boom! My first client is late. Like, seriously? I’m sitting there, tapping my foot, thinking about how I could’ve slept in longer. When she finally shows up, she’s all flustered. Turns out, she got lost on the way. I mean, Szentes isn’t that big! How do you get lost? But whatever, we dive into her issues. She’s talking about her job, her boyfriend, and I’m just nodding, trying to keep it together. I’m like, “Girl, you gotta stand up for yourself!” Then, outta nowhere, she starts crying. Like, full-on sobbing. I’m sitting there, thinking, “What do I do?!” I hand her a tissue, and she’s like, “Thanks, I’m such a mess.” I’m like, “Nah, we all have our days.” But inside, I’m panicking. After that session, I need a breather. I step outside, and it’s like the universe is playing tricks on me. I see this old lady on the corner of Széchenyi tér, trying to cross the street. I rush over to help her, and she’s like, “I can do it myself!” I’m like, “Okay, lady, but you’re moving slower than a snail!” So, I’m walking back, and I pass by the Szentes Water Tower. It’s this iconic thing, right? I stop for a sec, just to appreciate it. But then, I hear this loud noise. Turns out, some kids are playing soccer nearby, and one of them kicks the ball right at me! I dodge it like I’m in the Olympics. I’m like, “Nice shot, kid!” Next client comes in, and he’s a total character. He’s talking about his conspiracy theories. I’m trying to keep a straight face while he’s going on about how the government is watching us through our phones. I’m like, “Dude, chill. They’re not that interested in you.” But he’s serious! By the end of the day, I’m exhausted. I head to the local park, just to unwind. It’s beautiful there, with all the trees and the little pond. I sit on a bench, and this random dog comes up to me. I’m like, “Hey, buddy!” He’s wagging his tail, and I’m thinking, “This dog gets me.” But then, I see a couple fighting nearby. They’re yelling, and I’m like, “C’mon, guys, not in public!” It’s like a soap opera unfolding right in front of me. I can’t help but laugh a little. Finally, I head home, and I’m just done. I flop on my couch, thinking about how wild the day was. Szentes, man, it’s full of surprises. I love this place, but some days, it’s just too much. So yeah, that was my day. Emotional rollercoaster, for sure. But hey, that’s life, right?
