Man, what a day! Seriously, Ambon is wild. I woke up thinking it’d be just another boring day crunching numbers. But nah, Ambon had other plans. First off, I hit the streets of Jalan Diponegoro. The sun was blazing, like it was trying to roast me alive. I’m sweating like a pig, and I’m like, “Great, just what I need.” But then I see this street vendor selling pisang goreng. I mean, who can resist fried bananas? Not me! Grabbed a bunch, and wow, they were crispy and sweet. Instant mood booster! But then, bam! My phone buzzes. My boss is like, “We need those financial reports ASAP!” Ugh, can’t a guy enjoy his snack? So I rush to the office on Jalan Sam Ratulangi. Traffic was a nightmare. I swear, I saw a guy on a motorbike almost take out a chicken. Like, dude, chill! Finally, I get to the office, and it’s chaos. My coworker, Rina, is freaking out. “The numbers are all wrong!” she yells. I’m like, “What do you mean wrong?” Turns out, she mixed up the data from last year. Classic Rina. I had to fix it in a hurry. My heart’s racing, and I’m like, “Why do I even do this?” After that, I needed a break. So I hit up the local café on Jalan Merdeka. Ordered a kopi Ambon. Man, that stuff is strong! I’m buzzing, and suddenly, I’m feeling like a financial genius. I start doodling ideas for investments on a napkin. Who knew caffeine could spark creativity? But then, just as I’m getting into it, the power goes out. Seriously, Ambon? I’m sitting there in the dark, and I can’t help but laugh. I mean, what’s next? A monkey stealing my laptop? So I step outside, and the rain starts pouring. Like, outta nowhere! I’m soaked in seconds. I’m running down Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, dodging puddles like I’m in some action movie. I’m laughing, though. It’s ridiculous. Then, I bump into this old dude selling ikan bakar. The smell hits me, and I’m like, “Yes, please!” I grab a plate, and it’s the best thing I’ve eaten all day. I’m sitting there, eating fish, soaking wet, and just thinking, “Life is weird, man.” After that, I finally make it back to the office. I’m drenched, but I’m feeling good. I finish the reports, and my boss actually smiles. “Good job,” he says. I’m like, “Wow, did I just win an award?” As I leave, I walk along the beach at Pantai Pintu Kota. The sunset is insane. Orange and pink everywhere. I take a moment to breathe. Ambon, you crazy city, you’ve got my heart racing. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Ambon keeps you on your toes, and I love it. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
