Man, what a day! I swear, Bandar (id) is wild. I woke up, and the sun was blazin’ like it was tryin’ to roast me alive. I mean, c’mon, it’s not even noon yet! I had a meeting at the office on Jl. Diponegoro, and I was already late. Typical, right? So, I hop on my bike, zoomin’ through the streets. Jl. Sultan Agung was packed, like always. Traffic jams everywhere. I’m sittin’ there, thinkin’, “Why do people even drive here?” I could’ve walked faster! But nah, I’m an estimator, gotta look professional, right? Finally, I get to the office, and guess what? The meeting’s been pushed back. Ugh! I could’ve slept in! So, I grab a kopi tubruk from the corner stall. Best coffee ever, by the way. I’m sippin’ it, and it’s like a hug in a cup. But then, I spill it all over my shirt. Great. Just great. Now I look like a walking coffee stain. The meeting starts, and it’s a mess. Everyone’s talkin’ over each other. I’m tryin’ to estimate costs for this new project, but all I hear is blah blah blah. I’m like, “Can we focus, people?” But no, they’re too busy arguing about who forgot the donuts. Seriously? Donuts? After that chaos, I decide to take a break. I stroll down Jl. Ahmad Yani, and it’s a whole vibe. Street vendors everywhere, selling everything from fried tofu to those crazy spicy sambals. I grab some bakso, and man, it’s like a party in my mouth. But then, I see this stray dog, and it’s lookin’ at me like I’m its next meal. I’m like, “Chill, buddy, I’m not your dinner!” Then, I get a call from my boss. He’s like, “We need those estimates ASAP!” I’m like, “Dude, I’m in the middle of a food coma here!” But I rush back to the office, and on the way, I trip over a pothole. Classic Bandar! I’m on the ground, and this old lady just laughs at me. Thanks, lady. Real supportive. Back at the office, I finally get my act together. I’m crunching numbers, and suddenly, I realize I’ve been using the wrong data. Like, what? I could’ve sworn I double-checked! I’m sweating bullets, and my heart’s racing. I’m about to lose it. But then, my buddy from accounting walks in with a box of donuts. I’m like, “Dude, you’re a lifesaver!” I grab one, and it’s like the universe is telling me, “Chill out, man.” After work, I hit up Jl. Pahlawan for some street food. I’m talkin’ grilled corn, fried rice, the works. I’m in heaven. And then, I bump into an old friend. We start reminiscing about the good ol’ days, and I’m feelin’ all nostalgic. Bandar’s got this charm, ya know? But then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring. I’m soaked in seconds. I’m laughing, though. Like, really? This day just keeps getting better! I run for cover, and I end up in this little warung. The owner’s super chill, and we start chatting. He tells me about the best spots in Bandar. I’m taking notes like a tourist. Finally, the rain stops, and I head home. I’m exhausted but happy. Bandar’s a rollercoaster, man. One minute you’re stressed, the next you’re laughing with strangers. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So yeah, that was my day. Just another wild ride in Bandar. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
