Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still reeling from it. So, I’m a sharpener, right? Just your average dude sharpening knives and tools in Bedugul. But today? Phew, it was a rollercoaster. I woke up to the sound of rain. Typical Bedugul, right? It’s like the weather can’t decide if it wants to be sunny or just moody. I mean, one minute it’s all misty and magical, and the next, it’s pouring like a waterfall. I grabbed my gear and headed out, dodging puddles on Jl. Raya Bedugul. First stop? The market. Oh man, the market! It’s always buzzing with life. Vendors shouting, people haggling, and the smell of fresh produce everywhere. I love it! But today, I was just trying to get my sharpening game on. I set up my little station near the fruit stalls. Then, this dude comes up to me. He’s all like, “Hey man, can you sharpen my machete?” I’m like, “Sure, bro, but why you need a machete in Bedugul?” Turns out, he’s got a garden that’s gone wild. I mean, who needs a machete for a garden? But hey, I’m not judging. So, I’m sharpening away, and suddenly, this lady starts yelling. She’s on Jl. Danau Beratan, waving her arms like she’s trying to take off. Apparently, her husband forgot their anniversary. Classic, right? I couldn’t help but chuckle. I mean, come on, how do you forget that? Anyway, I finish up the machete, and the guy’s all happy. He pays me with some fresh strawberries. Not a bad trade, right? But then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by, trips, and spills a whole basket of strawberries everywhere! I’m talking a strawberry massacre. I’m laughing, but the poor kid is crying. I mean, I get it, those strawberries were probably his lunch or something. After that chaos, I decided to take a break. I strolled over to the lake, Danau Bratan. Man, it’s beautiful there. The mist over the water, the temple in the background. It’s like a postcard. I sat there, just soaking it all in. But then, I see this couple taking selfies. They’re posing like they’re models or something. I’m just sitting there, sharpening my thoughts, and they’re all like, “Can you take our pic?” I’m like, “Sure, but don’t blame me if you look goofy.” They laughed, and I snapped a few shots. Honestly, I think I should add “photographer” to my resume. But then, the day took a turn. I got back to my spot, and my sharpening tools were gone! Like, poof! I was furious. Who steals from a sharpener? I mean, come on! I was ready to go full detective mode. I started asking around, and this old lady on Jl. Raya Bedugul just chuckled. She said, “Maybe they needed it more than you.” I mean, she’s not wrong, but still! Finally, I found my tools. Some kid was using them to carve something. I was mad, but then I saw how focused he was. I couldn’t stay angry. I just told him to be careful and not cut himself. As the sun started to set, I packed up. I was exhausted but happy. Bedugul had thrown everything at me today. Rain, laughter, chaos, and even a bit of drama. I love this place. It’s wild, unpredictable, and full of life. So yeah, that was my day. Just another day in Bedugul, sharpening knives and dodging life’s curveballs. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
