Man, today was a wild ride in Bejubang-Dua! Like, seriously, I can’t even. Woke up late, as usual. My alarm? Yeah, it totally ghosted me. So, I’m sprinting down Jalan Raya Bejubang, dodging scooters like I’m in some crazy video game. First stop? My fave coffee joint, Kopi Keren. I needed that caffeine fix, ya know? But guess what? They ran outta my usual order. Ugh! I was like, “What do you mean no more caramel macchiato?!” I mean, c’mon, it’s not rocket science! So, I settled for a black coffee. Bitter like my mood. Then, I hit the streets. Bejubang-Dua is a maze, man. I took a wrong turn on Jalan Pahlawan and ended up in this tiny market. It was packed! Like, shoulder-to-shoulder packed. I swear, I almost lost my mind. But then, I saw this old lady selling the cutest batik cloth. I had to stop. I mean, who can resist that? I bought a piece, thinking it’d inspire my next texture project. But then, bam! My phone buzzed. A client wanted changes on a project due tomorrow. Like, seriously? I’m just tryna vibe here! I felt my blood pressure rise. I mean, can’t a texture artist catch a break? So, I’m walking down Jalan Merdeka, trying to calm down. The street is alive, man. Street food everywhere! I could smell the satay grilling. My stomach growled louder than a motorcycle. I grabbed some skewers, and wow, they were fire! Spicy, juicy, everything I needed. Happiness restored, at least for a moment. Then, I bumped into my buddy, Rudi. He’s always got the craziest stories. He told me about this hidden waterfall near Bejubang. I was like, “Dude, let’s go!” So, we hopped on his bike and zoomed outta the city. The ride was insane! Wind in my hair, feeling free. But then, we hit traffic on Jalan Sudirman. I mean, come on! It’s like the universe was testing my patience. Rudi was cracking jokes, but I was just staring at the cars. I could feel my creativity slipping away. Finally, we made it to the waterfall. And wow, it was breathtaking! Water cascading down, surrounded by lush greenery. I felt like I was in a movie. Took a million pics for inspo. I even dipped my toes in. Cold, refreshing, just what I needed. But then, outta nowhere, it started pouring! Like, monsoon-level rain. We scrambled for cover, laughing like idiots. I was soaked, but honestly, it was kinda fun. We ended up in this little hut, sharing stories and snacks. After the rain, the sunset was epic. Colors everywhere! I felt grateful, ya know? Bejubang-Dua can be chaotic, but it’s got its moments. Rudi and I headed back, and I was buzzing with ideas. I couldn’t wait to get home and start working on my textures. But first, I had to stop by the night market on Jalan Cendana. I mean, who can resist late-night snacks? So, yeah, today was a rollercoaster. From coffee drama to waterfall adventures, Bejubang-Dua never disappoints. I’m exhausted but happy. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
