Man, what a day! Seriously, Bekasi is wild. I woke up late, as usual. My alarm? Yeah, it didn’t go off. Classic me. So, I rushed outta bed, threw on whatever I could find. You know how it is. First stop? Warung Kopi di Jalan Raya. Gotta get that caffeine fix, right? The barista, this dude named Budi, was like, “Bro, you look like you just woke up from a coma.” Haha, thanks, man. I ordered my usual, kopi tubruk. It’s like a punch in the face, but in a good way. Then, I hit the road. Traffic on Jalan Ahmad Yani was insane! I mean, come on! It’s like everyone decided to drive at the same time. I was stuck behind this old motorbike. The guy was going 20 km/h. I was like, “Dude, this isn’t a Sunday stroll!” Finally, I made it to my meeting. It was at this fancy office on Jalan Jendral Sudirman. You know, the one with the glass walls? Yeah, that one. I walk in, and everyone’s already there, looking all serious. I’m like, “Sorry, I’m late. Traffic, you know?” They just stared at me. Awkward. The meeting was a snooze fest. Numbers, charts, blah blah blah. But then, outta nowhere, my boss drops this bomb. “We’re expanding to Jakarta!” I almost choked on my coffee. Jakarta? That’s like saying we’re moving to Mars! I mean, it’s cool and all, but the traffic there? Ugh. After the meeting, I needed a breather. So, I headed to Summarecon Bekasi. It’s this mall, right? I thought, “Let’s grab some food.” I hit up this place called Ramen 99. Best ramen ever! I ordered the spicy miso. My mouth was on fire, but in a good way. While I was slurping away, I saw this street performer. He was juggling and doing backflips. I was like, “Dude, how are you not in the Olympics?” I threw him some coins. He winked at me. I felt like a hero for a sec. But then, my phone buzzed. It was my friend, asking if I wanted to go to a concert later. I was like, “Heck yeah!” But then I remembered, I had to work late. Ugh, adulting sucks. On my way home, I took Jalan Raya Narogong. The sunset was gorgeous. Like, Instagram-worthy. I thought about stopping to take a pic, but then I saw a bunch of kids playing soccer. They were having a blast. I just sat there, watching them. Made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. But then, outta nowhere, a stray dog ran by and knocked over my drink. I was like, “Noooo!” My iced tea was everywhere. I was so mad! But then I saw the dog just chilling, tongue out, looking all cute. I couldn’t stay mad. Finally, I got home. I flopped on my bed, exhausted. What a day! Bekasi, you’re a rollercoaster. Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of chaos. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
