Man, what a day! Seriously, Binjai is wild. I woke up thinking it’d be chill, just another day in this crazy city. But nah, life had other plans. So, I hit the streets early, right? I’m cruising down Jl. Jend. Sudirman, and it’s already packed. Like, why are there so many people at 7 AM? I’m just tryna grab some nasi goreng from my fave warung. But the line? Ugh, it’s longer than my to-do list. Finally, I get my food. It’s steaming hot, and I’m ready to devour it. But then, boom! A motorcycle zooms by, splashing puddle water all over me. I’m soaked! Like, thanks for the free shower, dude. I’m standing there, dripping, and all I can think is, “This is how my day starts?” After that, I decide to head to the Binjai Supermall. I mean, who doesn’t love a good mall day? I’m walking down Jl. Sisingamangaraja, and I see this street vendor selling the best keripik. I can’t resist. I grab a bag, and it’s like heaven in my mouth. But then, I drop it. Yup, right on the ground. I’m like, “Noooo!” My heart breaks. Anyway, I finally make it to the mall. It’s packed, of course. I’m dodging people left and right. I swear, it’s like an obstacle course. I get to the bookstore, and I’m browsing. I find this book on local flora. Super nerdy, I know, but I’m a science geek, so whatever. Then, outta nowhere, I hear this loud crash. I turn around, and some kid just knocked over a whole display of snacks. Chips everywhere! I can’t help but laugh. Like, dude, what were you thinking? But then, I see the mom’s face. She’s mortified. I feel bad, but also, it’s kinda hilarious. After that, I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed. I need air. So, I head outside to Jl. Diponegoro. The fresh air hits me, and I’m like, “Ahh, sweet relief.” I sit on a bench, just chillin’. I see this old man selling traditional snacks. He’s got this huge smile, and I can’t help but smile back. It’s those little moments, ya know? But then, my phone buzzes. It’s my buddy, asking if I wanna hit up a karaoke place later. I’m like, “Heck yes!” I love karaoke. I mean, who doesn’t wanna belt out some tunes? So, I’m walking back home, and I pass by the Binjai City Park. It’s beautiful, man. The trees, the flowers, everything’s so vibrant. I stop to take a pic for the ‘gram. Gotta show off my city, right? But then, I see this group of kids playing soccer. They’re having a blast, and I’m just standing there, reminiscing about my childhood. I used to play all the time. I get a bit nostalgic, ya know? Finally, I get home, and I’m exhausted. But I can’t stop thinking about the day. It was a rollercoaster. From getting splashed to laughing at the snack disaster, it was all over the place. Later that night, I hit up karaoke with my friends. We’re singing our hearts out, and I’m feeling on top of the world. I even hit a high note! (Okay, maybe not, but I tried.) As I lay in bed, I can’t help but smile. Binjai, you crazy city, you never fail to surprise me. Can’t wait for tomorrow!
