Man, today was a wild ride in Blora. Like, seriously, I didn’t expect it at all. Woke up late, as usual. My alarm? Yeah, it totally betrayed me. So, I rushed outta bed, threw on whatever I could find. You know the drill. First stop? Warung Kopi di Jalan Diponegoro. Gotta get that caffeine fix, right? The barista, Rina, she’s a legend. She knows my order by heart. I’m like, “Yo, Rina! Gimme that double espresso!” She just laughs and says, “You need it, bro!” I mean, she’s not wrong. So, I’m chugging my coffee, and boom! My phone buzzes. It’s my boss. “Hey, we need you at the site ASAP!” Ugh, typical. I sprint outta there, dodging motorbikes like I’m in some action movie. Jalan Pahlawan is a mess, as always. Traffic’s insane. I swear, I saw a guy on a scooter with a chicken in his lap. Like, what even? Finally, I get to the site. It’s chaos. My crew’s running around like headless chickens. Turns out, the equipment broke down. Great. Just what I needed. I’m trying to fix it, but it’s like wrestling a crocodile. I’m sweating bullets, cursing under my breath. “Why today? Why now?” Then, outta nowhere, this kid shows up. He’s selling snacks. I’m like, “Dude, you’re a lifesaver!” I grab some pisang goreng. Best decision ever. Sweet, crispy, and totally worth the calories. I’m munching away, feeling a bit better. But then, my phone rings again. It’s my mom. “Where are you? You promised to help me with the garden!” Oh man, I totally forgot. I’m like, “Mom, I’m swamped! Can’t you just plant the flowers yourself?” She’s not having it. “You better be here by 5!” Now I’m stressed. I gotta finish this job and get to her place. I’m running around, trying to fix things. Finally, we get it working. I’m like, “Yes! We did it!” My crew cheers. But then, I look at the time. It’s already 4:30! I bolt outta there, racing down Jalan Jendral Sudirman. I’m praying the traffic’s light. Spoiler alert: it’s not. I’m stuck behind a truck that’s spewing smoke everywhere. I can’t breathe! I’m yelling at the driver, “Move it, man!” Finally, I make it to my mom’s place. She’s waiting, arms crossed. “You’re late!” I’m like, “Chill, Mom! I just saved the day!” But she’s not impressed. We start planting flowers, and I’m trying to make it fun. “Look, Mom! I’m a gardener now!” She rolls her eyes. Classic. After a while, we finish. The garden looks great. I’m feeling proud. But then, I step in mud. Ugh! My shoes are ruined. I’m laughing, though. “Guess I’m a real gardener now!” As the sun sets, I’m sitting on the porch, sipping tea. Blora’s quiet now. The streets are calming down. I can hear the sounds of the night. It’s peaceful. I think about the day. Crazy, emotional, and totally unexpected. I love this city, even with its madness. Blora, you’re a gem. Can’t wait for tomorrow’s adventure.
