Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a radio operator in Bojonegoro is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s blazin’ through my window on Jl. Diponegoro. I’m like, “Great, another scorcher.” But hey, I’m ready to roll. First call comes in. Some dude’s lost on Jl. Veteran. I mean, c’mon, how do you get lost there? It’s a straight shot! I’m tryin’ to help him, but he’s all panicky. I’m like, “Chill, bro! Just follow the road!” But nah, he’s convinced he’s in Narnia or somethin’. Finally, I get him sorted. Phew! Then, outta nowhere, I hear this loud bang. My heart drops. I’m thinkin’ it’s a bomb or somethin’. Turns out, it’s just some kids messin’ around with firecrackers near the Alun-Alun. I’m like, “Seriously, guys? It’s not even a holiday!” But I can’t help but laugh. Kids will be kids, right? Next, I get a call about a stray dog on Jl. Pahlawan. This pup’s just chillin’ like it owns the place. I’m like, “Dude, you’re not the mayor!” But I can’t resist. I grab some snacks and head out. This little guy is a total charmer. I name him “Bojong.” Yeah, I know, super original. While I’m out there, I bump into my buddy, Rudi. He’s got this wild story about a wedding on Jl. Soekarno. Apparently, the bride tripped and fell into the cake. I’m dying! Like, who needs a wedding planner when you’ve got slapstick comedy? But then, I get a call about a traffic jam on Jl. Raya. Ugh, the worst! I’m tryin’ to direct traffic, but it’s chaos. Cars honkin’, people yellin’. I’m like, “Can we all just chill for a sec?” But nope, everyone’s in a hurry. I swear, if I had a dollar for every angry driver, I’d be rich. Finally, I get a breather. I grab some nasi goreng from a street vendor. Man, that stuff is life! I sit by the river, watchin’ the sunset. It’s beautiful, ya know? Makes all the craziness worth it. But just when I think it’s over, I get a call about a lost kid near the market. My heart sinks. I rush over, and there he is, just chillin’ with a bunch of snacks. I’m like, “Dude, your mom’s freakin’ out!” But he’s all smiles, munchin’ away. Kids, man. By the end of the day, I’m exhausted but happy. Bojonegoro, you crazy place! Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of chaos. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Just another day in the life of a radio operator, right?
