Man, what a day! I swear, Buaran really knows how to throw a curveball. Woke up late, as usual. Alarm? Nah, who needs that? So, I’m rushin’ outta my place on Jl. Raya Buaran, barely grabbin’ my tools. Gotta love the morning chaos, right? First stop, a customer’s car on Jl. Pahlawan. Old dude, like, 80 or somethin’. He’s got this ancient Honda that sounds like a dying cat. I’m thinkin’, “How does this thing even run?” But hey, it’s Buaran, anything’s possible. So, I pop the hood, and boom! A rat’s nest. No joke! I’m like, “Dude, you got a pet in here?” He just laughs, but I’m fumin’. I mean, c’mon! I’m not a pest control guy! Fixing cars, not cleaning up rodent condos! After that, I’m cruisin’ down Jl. Jendral Sudirman, and I see this street vendor. Man, the smell of fried tofu hits me like a brick. I’m starving! So, I grab a plate. Best decision ever! I’m munchin’ on this stuff, and it’s like a flavor explosion. I’m thinkin’, “Why don’t I eat this every day?” But then, outta nowhere, this kid on a bike zooms past me. Almost knocks my plate outta my hands! I’m like, “Hey, watch it, kid!” But he just laughs and speeds off. I’m left there, half-eaten tofu in hand, feelin’ like a grumpy old man. Next, I head to Jl. Kemandoran. Got a call about a car that won’t start. I get there, and it’s a brand new SUV. I’m thinkin’, “This better not be a battery issue.” But guess what? It’s a battery issue. I’m rollin’ my eyes. Seriously? You’d think people would check that stuff. While I’m workin’, this lady walks by. She’s got a parrot on her shoulder. I’m like, “Is this a pet store or what?” The parrot starts squawkin’ at me. I’m tryin’ to focus, but it’s like, “Polly wants a cracker!” I’m like, “Polly wants to shut up!” Finally, I finish up and head to Jl. Suka Maju. I’m exhausted, but I see my buddy, Rudi, at the coffee shop. We grab a cup, and I’m spillin’ all the crazy stuff that happened. He’s laughin’ so hard, he almost spills his drink. But then, outta nowhere, it starts rainin’. Like, torrential downpour! I’m sprintin’ back to my bike, soaked to the bone. I’m thinkin’, “Great, just what I needed.” But then, I see a bunch of kids splashing in puddles. They’re havin’ the time of their lives. I can’t help but smile. So, I’m sittin’ on my bike, drenched, and I realize somethin’. Life’s a mess, but it’s a beautiful mess. Buaran’s wild, chaotic, and full of surprises. And you know what? I wouldn’t trade it for anything. As I ride home, I’m thinkin’ about tomorrow. More cars, more chaos, and definitely more fried tofu. Bring it on, Buaran!
