Man, what a day! Cicurug, you wild! I woke up thinking it’d be chill, just another day in this crazy little town. But nah, the universe had other plans. First off, I hit the streets of Cicurug, right? I’m cruising down Jl. Raya Cicurug, and boom! Traffic jam. Like, seriously? It’s a Tuesday! I’m sittin’ there, fuming, listening to some random dude blaring dang pop music. I mean, come on, bro, it’s 8 AM! Finally, I get past that mess and head to the market. Cicurug’s market is lit, tho. Fresh fruits, veggies, and all that good stuff. I’m eyeing some manggis, right? And this old lady just swoops in and grabs the last one. I’m like, “Really, lady? You couldn’t let a guy have one?” But whatever, I’m not about to start a fruit fight. So I grab some rambutan instead. Those things are like little hairy balls of joy. I’m munching on them, feeling good, when I bump into my buddy, Rudi. He’s all hyped about this new café on Jl. Cikupa. “Dude, you gotta try their kopi!” he says. I’m like, “Sure, why not?” We head over, and OMG, this place is packed! Like, who knew Cicurug had a coffee scene? I order a cappuccino, and it’s like a work of art. I take a sip, and it’s like heaven in a cup. I’m grinning like an idiot. Rudi’s laughing at me, but I don’t care. Then, outta nowhere, this guy spills his drink all over me. I’m soaked! I’m like, “Dude, what’s your problem?” He just shrugs and walks away. I’m standing there, dripping coffee, feeling like a soggy mess. But hey, at least I got a story, right? After that, we decide to hit up the Cicurug park. It’s a nice spot, lots of trees and chill vibes. We’re just hanging out, when I see this cute dog. I’m talking to Rudi, and I’m like, “Dude, look at that pup!” I get distracted, and next thing I know, I trip over a root. Classic me, right? I land right in front of the dog, and it starts licking my face. I’m laughing, but also kinda embarrassed. Rudi’s dying, and I’m just like, “Yeah, this is my life now.” As the sun starts to set, we walk back through Jl. Raya again. The sky’s all orange and pink, and it’s actually kinda beautiful. I’m feeling all the feels, you know? Cicurug can be a pain, but days like this make it worth it. Then, out of nowhere, I see a street performer. This dude’s playing the guitar, and he’s actually good! I toss him a few coins, and he gives me a nod. I’m feeling generous, so I buy a snack from a nearby warung. Nasi goreng, baby! I sit down, enjoying my food, and just soak it all in. Cicurug, with all its chaos, is home. I’m laughing, I’m mad, I’m happy, and I’m just living. By the time I get home, I’m exhausted but happy. What a rollercoaster! Cicurug, you crazy, but I wouldn’t trade you for anything.
