Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a Master of the Forest ain’t always chill vibes. So, I roll into Cikampek, right? First off, traffic was a nightmare. Like, I thought I was stuck in a snail race. Seriously, I could’ve walked faster. I hit up Jl. Raya Cikampek, and lemme tell ya, it was packed. Cars everywhere, honking like they were in a symphony of chaos. I was like, “Dude, chill! We’re not in a hurry to get to the end of the world!” So, I finally find a spot to park. It’s near the Cikampek River, which is kinda pretty, but man, the smell? Ugh. I swear, it was like a mix of durian and something dead. Not cool, Cikampek, not cool. I’m walking down Jl. Pahlawan, and I see this street vendor selling all kinds of snacks. My stomach’s growling like a bear, so I grab some kerupuk. You know, those crunchy chips? But then, I bite into one, and it’s like eating a salt lick. I’m like, “Bro, did you dip this in the ocean?” Then, outta nowhere, I bump into this old dude. He’s got this wild beard, like he just walked outta a fairy tale. He starts telling me about the history of Cikampek. Apparently, it’s been around since the Dutch colonial days. I’m like, “Wow, that’s cool, but can we talk about the snacks?” But nah, he’s on a roll. He’s talking about the Cikampek toll road and how it connects to Jakarta. I’m just nodding, but inside I’m like, “Dude, I just wanna find a decent place to eat.” Finally, I make my way to Jl. Jendral Sudirman. There’s this café that’s supposed to have the best nasi goreng. I’m hyped! I sit down, order, and wait. And wait. And wait. I swear, I could’ve grown a forest in that time. When the food finally comes, it’s like a masterpiece. I take a bite, and it’s like fireworks in my mouth. I’m talking flavor explosion! I’m grinning like a fool. But then, I look around, and everyone’s staring at me. I’m like, “What? Never seen a guy enjoy his food?” After that, I decide to check out the local market. Jl. Cikampek Utara is buzzing with life. People are shouting, selling everything from fruits to clothes. I’m dodging folks left and right, trying not to trip over a chicken. Yeah, a chicken. Just chillin’ in the middle of the street. I find this stall selling fresh fruits. I grab some manggis, and man, they’re juicy! But then, I drop one. It rolls away like it’s got a mind of its own. I’m chasing it down the street, looking like a total goof. By the time I’m done, I’m exhausted but happy. Cikampek’s got this vibe, ya know? It’s chaotic but real. I hop back in my ride, ready to head home. But then, I get stuck in traffic again. I’m like, “Seriously? I just wanna go home!” So, yeah, that was my day in Cikampek. Full of surprises, snacks, and a whole lotta chaos. I love this place, but man, it can be a handful!
