Man, what a day! I woke up in Ciputat, and let me tell ya, it was a wild ride. First off, I’m a huntsman, right? So, I’m used to the woods, not the chaos of the city. But today? Pffft, it was like a movie gone wrong. So, I’m chillin’ at my usual spot on Jl. Raya Ciputat, sippin’ my kopi, when I hear this loud honking. Like, seriously, dude? It’s 7 AM! I look up, and there’s this bajaj stuck in traffic, just blaring its horn like it’s the end of the world. I’m like, “Bro, chill! We all got places to be.” But nah, the driver’s just livin’ his best life, I guess. Then I decide to hit up the market on Jl. H. Usman. You know, the one that’s always packed? I’m dodging people left and right, trying not to spill my drink. And then, bam! I bump into this old lady. She’s got a basket full of veggies, and I’m like, “Oh man, I’m so sorry!” But she just looks at me, and I swear, her glare could melt steel. I’m like, “Chill, I didn’t mean to turn you into a salad!” After that, I’m wandering around, and I see this street vendor selling the best fried tofu. I mean, it’s like heaven in a bite. I grab a few, and while I’m munching, I overhear this group of kids arguing about who’s the best football player. One kid’s like, “Messi’s the GOAT!” and the other’s all, “Nah, Ronaldo!” I’m just standing there, laughing. Like, dude, you’re in Ciputat, not the World Cup! But then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring. I’m talking monsoon-level rain. I’m soaked in seconds. I duck into this little warung on Jl. Siliwangi, hoping to wait it out. The owner’s this jolly dude, and he’s like, “You want some nasi goreng?” I’m like, “Heck yes!” So, I’m scarfing down this plate of goodness, and it’s like a warm hug on a cold day. Then, the rain stops, and I step outside. The streets are all shiny and new, and I’m feeling good. But wait! What’s that? A cat! Just chilling on the sidewalk, looking all regal. I’m like, “Yo, what’s up, kitty?” And it just stares at me like I’m the weird one. I mean, come on, I’m not the one lounging in the middle of the street! So, I keep walking, and I end up at Ciputat Plaza. There’s this event going on, and people are dancing. I’m like, “Why not?” So, I join in, and let me tell ya, I’ve got moves! Or at least I thought I did until I tripped over my own feet. Classic me, right? Everyone’s laughing, and I’m just rolling with it. Gotta love the vibe in Ciputat! As the sun sets, I’m heading back home, and I can’t help but think about how crazy today was. From the honking bajaj to the old lady’s glare, to the dancing in the plaza, it was a rollercoaster. Ciputat, you’ve got my heart, even if you drive me nuts sometimes. I finally get home, plop on my couch, and just laugh. What a day, man. What a day.
