Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in Citeureup, right? The sun’s blazin’ through my window on Jl. Raya Citeureup. I’m like, “Great, another day of helping folks with their feels.” But little did I know, today was gonna be a rollercoaster. First off, I grab my coffee from that little warung on Jl. Cikupa. You know the one? The one with the best kopi in town. I swear, that stuff could wake the dead. I’m chugging it down, and boom! My phone buzzes. It’s a client. They’re in crisis. Like, full-on meltdown mode. I’m like, “Dude, can’t you just chill for a sec?” But nah, they need me. So, I rush over to the office on Jl. Pahlawan. Traffic? Ugh, don’t even get me started. It’s like everyone in Citeureup decided to drive at the same time. I’m stuck behind this old motorbike that’s going 10 km/h. I’m yelling at my steering wheel, “C’mon, man! We got places to be!” Finally, I make it to the office, and I’m already sweating like a pig. So, I sit down with my client. Let’s call him “Budi.” Budi’s got some serious issues. Family drama, work stress, the whole shebang. I’m trying to be all calm and collected, but inside, I’m like, “Why can’t people just talk it out?” We dive deep into his problems, and I’m feeling all the feels. It’s heavy, man. But then, he cracks a joke about his cat, and I lose it. I’m laughing so hard, I almost spill my water. After the session, I step outside, and it’s like a sauna. I’m sweating bullets. I decide to take a stroll down Jl. Siliwangi. The street’s buzzing with life. Kids are playing, vendors are shouting about their fried tofu, and I’m just soaking it all in. It’s chaotic but beautiful. I love this city, man. But then, outta nowhere, I see this guy trying to sell fake watches. I’m like, “Dude, really? In broad daylight?” I can’t help but roll my eyes. I mean, come on! Get a real job! But then I think, “Hey, maybe he’s just trying to survive.” So, I give him a nod and keep walking. Next, I hit up the park near Jl. Merdeka. I need a breather. I plop down on a bench, and this old lady starts chatting me up. She’s telling me about her grandkids and how they’re all in Jakarta now. I’m like, “That’s cool, but what about you?” She just smiles and says, “I’m happy as long as I have my plants.” I’m like, “You do you, lady!” But then, I get a text from another client. They’re having a panic attack. I’m like, “Seriously? Can’t a counselor catch a break?” I rush back to the office, and I’m just praying I can help them. When I finally get there, I find out it’s a misunderstanding. They thought I was mad at them. I’m like, “Nah, man! I’m just here to help!” We talk it out, and by the end, they’re smiling. I’m like, “Phew, saved another one!” Finally, I wrap up my day. I’m exhausted but happy. I stroll back home, taking in the sights of Citeureup. The streetlights are flickering on, and the night market is starting to buzz. I grab some street food—nasi goreng, of course. Can’t resist that! As I sit down to eat, I think about the day. It was wild, emotional, and a bit crazy. But that’s life in Citeureup, right? Full of surprises, laughter, and a whole lotta heart. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
