Man, what a day! I swear, Driyorejo is wild. Like, I thought I was just gonna help some peeps shop, but nah, it turned into a whole adventure. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First stop, Jalan Raya Driyorejo. I’m cruising down the street, feeling good. But then, bam! Traffic jam. Like, seriously? It’s 9 AM! Who’s out here causing chaos? I’m stuck behind this old dude in a rusty motorbike. I mean, come on, bro, get it together! I’m losing my mind. Finally, I get to the mall. It’s packed. I’m talking shoulder-to-shoulder with people. I’m like, “Where did all these folks come from?” I spot my first client, a sweet lady named Ibu Sari. She’s on a mission to find the perfect dress for her daughter’s wedding. No pressure, right? We hit up the boutiques on Jalan Diponegoro. I’m pulling dresses left and right. “How about this one?” I ask. She’s like, “Nah, too sparkly.” I’m thinking, “Girl, it’s a wedding, not a funeral!” But whatever, I’m here for her. Then, outta nowhere, this kid runs past us, knocks over a rack of clothes. I’m talking a full-on avalanche of fabric. I’m like, “Dude, what’s your problem?” Ibu Sari just laughs. I’m trying to keep my cool, but inside, I’m fuming. After that chaos, we finally find a dress. It’s gorgeous! Ibu Sari’s face lights up. I’m feeling like a hero. But then, she’s like, “Let’s get shoes.” Ugh, more shopping? Fine. We head to Jalan Jendral Sudirman. We hit this shoe store, and I’m already exhausted. Ibu Sari is trying on heels, and I’m just sitting there, scrolling through my phone. Suddenly, I hear this loud crash. I look up, and it’s a whole display of shoes that just fell over. I’m like, “What is happening today?” I’m losing my patience. But Ibu Sari is still in good spirits. She finds these killer heels, and I’m like, “Yes, girl! Slay!” We finally wrap up, and I’m ready to go home. But wait! I get a call from my buddy, Rizky. He’s like, “Yo, you gotta check out this new café on Jalan Pahlawan.” I’m thinking, “I’m so done.” But then he mentions their coffee is to die for. I’m like, “Fine, one more stop.” We get to the café, and it’s packed. I’m standing in line, and this barista is taking forever. I’m about to lose it. But then, I get my coffee, and wow. It’s like a hug in a cup. I’m suddenly happy again. As I’m sipping my drink, I look around. Driyorejo is buzzing. People laughing, chatting, living their lives. It’s chaotic, but it’s home. I’m reminded why I love this city. Finally, I head home, exhausted but satisfied. I think about the day. The ups, the downs, the crazy moments. Driyorejo, you’re a wild ride, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Can’t wait for tomorrow’s adventures!
