Man, what a day! I’m a forester, right? So, I’m used to chillin’ in the woods, not dealin’ with city chaos. But today? Oh boy, Jepara really threw me for a loop. First off, I roll into Jepara, and it’s like, whoa! So many people! I’m used to the sound of birds, not honking horns. I parked my bike near Jalan Raya Jepara, and immediately, I’m hit with this wave of heat. Like, seriously, did someone turn on a giant oven? I’m walkin’ down the street, and I see this market. The smell? Man, it’s a mix of fried fish and something sweet. I’m like, “Okay, I gotta try that!” So I grab some pempek. It’s this fish cake thing, and it’s bomb! But then, I spill some sauce on my shirt. Great. Just great. Now I look like a walking condiment. Then, I’m strollin’ down Jalan Pahlawan, and I see this old dude carving wood. He’s makin’ these intricate sculptures. I’m like, “Dude, how do you even do that?” He just smiles and says, “Practice, my friend.” I’m thinkin’, “Yeah, I’ll just practice for 20 years and maybe I’ll get there.” But then, bam! Outta nowhere, this kid runs into me. I’m like, “Whoa, watch it, mini tornado!” He just giggles and runs off. Kids in Jepara are wild, man. They got energy for days! So, I keep walkin’, and I hit up the beach. Pantai Kartini, right? The waves are crashing, and I’m feelin’ all zen. But then, I see this group of tourists. They’re takin’ selfies like it’s the end of the world. I’m like, “C’mon, guys, it’s just a beach!” But hey, whatever floats their boat, right? Then, I decide to grab a drink. I find this little warung on Jalan Jendral Sudirman. I order a coconut, and the lady hands me this giant one. I’m like, “Whoa, is this a coconut or a basketball?” I take a sip, and it’s like heaven in a shell. But then, I realize I’ve got coconut water all over my face. Classy, right? After that, I’m tryin’ to find my way back. I’m lost, like really lost. I’m wanderin’ around, and I end up on Jalan Diponegoro. I see this beautiful mosque, Masjid Agung Jepara. It’s stunning! I’m takin’ pics, and this old lady comes up to me. She’s like, “You like it? It’s our pride!” I’m thinkin’, “Yeah, lady, it’s gorgeous!” But then, I get a call. It’s my buddy. He’s like, “Dude, where are you?” I’m like, “I’m in Jepara, man! It’s crazy here!” He laughs and says, “You’re always lost!” Ugh, so true. Finally, I find my bike. I’m exhausted, but I’m also kinda happy. Jepara is wild, man. It’s got this vibe. The people, the food, the chaos. I love it! But I’m ready to get back to the forest. No more city for me today. As I ride home, I can’t help but smile. Jepara, you crazy, but I’ll be back. Just maybe with a map next time!
