Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a stove-maker in Kamal (id) is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s blazin’ through my window on Jl. Raya, and I’m like, “Great, another day of makin’ stoves.” But little did I know, today was gonna be a wild ride. First off, I hit up the local market on Jl. Pahlawan. You know, the one where all the vendors shout like they’re in a competition? I’m just tryin’ to grab some supplies. I’m dodging people left and right, and this dude almost spills his kopi on me. Like, c’mon man, watch where you’re goin’! I’m not a coffee cup, ya know? So, I finally get my stuff and head back to my workshop on Jl. Merdeka. It’s a cozy little spot, filled with metal scraps and the smell of burning coal. I’m in my zone, hammering away, when suddenly, my buddy Rudi bursts in. He’s all outta breath, like he just ran a marathon or something. “Dude, you won’t believe it!” he yells. Apparently, there’s a huge festival happening at the city square. I’m like, “What? Right now?” I mean, who doesn’t love a good festival? So, I drop my tools and we head over. The streets are packed! I swear, I’ve never seen so many people crammed into Jl. Kebangkitan. There’s music blaring, food stalls everywhere, and the smell of grilled satay is just heavenly. I’m drooling, man. But then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring! Like, seriously? I’m soaked in seconds. Rudi’s laughin’ his head off, and I’m just standin’ there, lookin’ like a drowned rat. But hey, I’m not lettin’ a little rain ruin my vibe. We duck into a tent, and guess what? There’s a stove competition goin’ on! I’m like, “This is my jam!” I watch these folks whip up some crazy dishes on their stoves. I’m gettin’ all hyped, shoutin’ “Go, go, go!” like I’m at a sports game. But then, this one guy, he totally messes up. His stove catches fire! I’m like, “Dude, chill! It’s not a bonfire!” Everyone’s panicking, but I can’t help but laugh. I mean, c’mon, it’s a stove competition, not a pyrotechnics show! After the chaos, I’m feelin’ all inspired. I head back to my workshop, ready to create the ultimate stove. I’m hammering away, lost in my thoughts. Kamal’s streets are alive with energy, and I can’t help but feel grateful. This city, man, it’s got character. But then, just as I’m about to finish, my neighbor’s cat jumps on my workbench. I’m like, “Seriously? Not now!” I try to shoo it away, but it’s like it’s auditioning for a role in a cat movie. I’m laughing and cursing at the same time. Finally, I wrap up my day, exhausted but happy. Kamal’s streets are quieter now, but I can still hear the echoes of the festival. I’m sittin’ on my porch, lookin’ at the stars, thinkin’ about how wild today was. I mean, who knew a simple day could turn into a rollercoaster of emotions? So yeah, that’s my day in Kamal (id). Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of chaos. Just another day in the life of a stove-maker, I guess!
