Man, what a day! I swear, Kasihan is wild. I woke up, ready to tackle whatever came my way. Little did I know, it was gonna be a rollercoaster.
First off, I hit the road on Jl. Raya Kasihan. Traffic was a nightmare! Like, come on, people! It’s not a parking lot! I was stuck behind this old dude in a rusty motorbike. I mean, c’mon, bro, it’s 2023! Get a move on!
Finally, I made it to the shop. The smell of oil and rubber hit me like a wave. My buddy, Joko, was already there, grinning like he just won the lottery. “Dude, you won’t believe what happened!” he says. I’m like, “Spill it!” Turns out, he fixed a car that belonged to some local celeb. I was like, “Nice! Can I get a selfie with them?” He just laughed.
So, we’re working on this old Suzuki, right? It’s a total wreck. I’m under the hood, and suddenly, I hear this loud crash outside. I bolt up, hit my head on the hood. Ouch! I peek outside, and it’s a bunch of kids playing soccer. They kicked the ball right into a parked car. Classic! The owner comes out, fuming. I’m just standing there, trying not to laugh.
After that, I needed a break. I strolled down Jl. Imogiri Timur. Man, the street food there is to die for! I grabbed some sate and a drink. Best decision ever! The flavors hit me like a punch. I was in heaven.
But then, I got a call. A customer needed a tow. I rushed back, and guess what? It was a lady with a flat tire. I’m like, “Really? You couldn’t change it?” She just stared at me, all wide-eyed. I mean, c’mon! It’s not rocket science!
While I’m fixing her tire, she starts chatting about her cat. I’m like, “Lady, I’m here to fix your car, not hear about Mr. Whiskers!” But she was so into it. I couldn’t help but smile.
Finally, I got her sorted. She was super grateful, gave me a tip. I was like, “Wow, thanks!” It’s nice when people appreciate your work.
Later, I headed to Jl. Parangtritis. The sunset was insane! I just stood there, soaking it all in. Kasihan can be chaotic, but moments like this make it worth it.
But then, my phone buzzed. Another emergency! A guy’s engine was smoking like a chimney. I rushed over, and it was a total mess. I was sweating bullets, but I fixed it. I felt like a superhero!
By the end of the day, I was exhausted. I plopped down on my couch, thinking about all the craziness. Kasihan is a wild ride, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
