Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I’m an agronomist, right? And today was just... wow. I woke up in Kawalu, and lemme tell ya, this place is a mix of chill vibes and chaos. First off, I hit the streets of Jl. Raya Kawalu. It’s like the main drag, ya know? Packed with food stalls and people hustlin’. I grabbed some breakfast—nasi goreng, of course. Best way to start the day! But then, I spilled half of it on my shirt. Classic me, right? So, I’m walking down Jl. Cikurubuk, and I see this farmer, Mr. Budi. He’s got this huge grin, and I’m like, “What’s up, man?” Turns out, he just got a good harvest of rice. I was stoked for him! But then, he tells me about this pest problem he’s having. Ugh, pests! They’re like the annoying ex that just won’t go away. I’m trying to help him out, right? But then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring! I mean, like, monsoon-level rain. I’m soaked, my notes are ruined, and I’m just standing there like a wet dog. I’m like, “Really, Kawalu? You couldn’t wait five minutes?” After the rain, I decided to hit up the Kawalu Market. It’s a total vibe! Fresh fruits, veggies, and the best street food. I’m wandering around, and I bump into my buddy, Rudi. He’s selling some crazy-looking fruits I’ve never seen before. I’m like, “Dude, what’s that?” He says it’s called “sirsak.” I’m like, “Sounds like a character from a bad movie.” But I try it, and wow, it’s delish! Then, I get a call from my boss. Ugh, the worst! He’s all like, “We need those soil samples ASAP!” I’m like, “Chill, man! I’m in Kawalu, living my best life!” But no, I gotta rush back to the lab. On my way back, I pass by Jl. Siliwangi. There’s this street performer playing the angklung. It’s beautiful! I stop for a sec, and it just hits me—this place has so much culture. I’m feeling all the feels, ya know? But then, I remember I’m late, and I’m like, “C’mon, heart, let’s go!” Finally, I get to the lab, and guess what? I forgot the samples at the market! I’m like, “Are you kidding me?” I could’ve screamed. So, I race back, dodging traffic on Jl. Raya again. It’s like a scene from an action movie. When I finally get to the market, I’m outta breath. But Rudi saved my samples! He’s like, “Dude, you left these behind.” I’m so grateful, I buy a bunch of his weird fruits. By the end of the day, I’m exhausted but happy. Kawalu is wild, man. It’s got its ups and downs, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I mean, where else can you get soaked, eat amazing food, and meet awesome people all in one day? So yeah, that was my day. Just another crazy, emotional rollercoaster in Kawalu. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
