Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in Ketanggungan, right? The sun’s blazin’ through my window, and I’m like, “Ugh, another day in paradise.” But lemme tell ya, paradise can be a real pain sometimes. First off, I’m late for work. Classic me. I sprint down Jl. Raya Ketanggungan, dodging motorbikes like I’m in some kinda video game. I swear, these drivers have no chill. One almost clipped me! I’m like, “Dude, I’m just tryna get to the office, not audition for a stunt double role!” Finally, I get to the office, and guess what? My boss, Mr. Santoso, is in a mood. He’s pacing around like a caged tiger. I’m thinkin’, “What’s his deal?” Turns out, he’s mad about the budget report. I mean, who isn’t? But he’s takin’ it out on me. I’m just the Assistant Secretary, man! Not the budget wizard! So, I’m sittin’ there, tryin’ to explain why the numbers are all over the place. I’m like, “Look, it’s Ketanggungan! Things change fast here!” But he’s not havin’ it. I can feel my blood boilin’. I mean, c’mon! It’s not like I’m the one who decided to spend a fortune on that new park on Jl. Diponegoro. It’s nice, but did we really need a fountain that looks like a giant fish? After that lovely chat, I decide to take a break. I head over to the local warung on Jl. Pahlawan. Best place ever! I grab some nasi goreng, and it’s like a hug in a bowl. Seriously, I could live off that stuff. I’m munchin’ away, and suddenly, this little kid runs in, all wide-eyed and giggly. He’s got a balloon, and I’m like, “Aww, that’s cute.” But then, BOOM! The balloon pops! The kid starts cryin’, and I’m like, “Oh no, not today!” I rush over, and I’m like, “Hey buddy, wanna share my food?” He stops cryin’ and looks at me like I’m a superhero. I mean, who wouldn’t want to share a plate of deliciousness? We end up laughing, and I feel all warm and fuzzy inside. But then, back to work. Ugh. I get back, and Mr. Santoso is still grumpy. He’s like, “We need to fix this!” I’m thinkin’, “Dude, chill. It’s just numbers.” But I can’t say that. So, I nod and pretend to take notes. Later, I get a call from my friend, Rina. She’s like, “You won’t believe what happened!” I’m all ears. Turns out, she saw a monkey on Jl. Raya! A MONKEY! Just chillin’ on a car, like it owns the place. I’m dying of laughter. Only in Ketanggungan, right? By the end of the day, I’m exhausted. I walk home, and the sunset is gorgeous. The sky’s all orange and pink, and I’m like, “Okay, maybe today wasn’t so bad.” I pass by the market on Jl. Siti Aisyah, and the smell of street food hits me. I can’t resist. I grab some satay, and it’s like a party in my mouth. Finally, I get home, plop on the couch, and think about the day. It was a rollercoaster, for sure. I laughed, I got mad, I ate good food. Ketanggungan, you crazy little city, you always keep me on my toes! So yeah, that was my day. Just another wild ride in this beautiful chaos. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
